Video: Incredible Moment Baby Is Born Inside Fully Intact Amniotic Sac

It's an incredibly rare, confronting and beautiful phenomenon all at the same time.

This is the moment a child is born while still inside its fully intact amniotic sac - known as the caul - something estimated to occur in one in every 80,000 births.

The video was taken in Spain on Saturday and captures the rare moment the baby was born with the membrane covering its entire body, just minutes after its twin was delivered normally. 

The amazing video shows the newborn lying on a hospital table, curled up inside the clear sac which is tightly stretched around its body.

Teenager Sells 18 Month Old Baby for N300,000 in Enugu, Nigeria

An 18-year-old mother, Okike Ezinne, has sold her 18-month-old baby, Chisom Raphael for N300,000 to a suspected child trafficker in a business deal facilitated by one Gloria Okafor, 46, who is from Umudi, Lokpanta in Abia State. 

The Ebonyi State-born Ezinne was arrested, yesterday, by operatives of Central Police Station, Enugu State Police Command. Although all the suspects in the matter have been arrested, the buyer was still at large at press time. 

It was gathered that the Ezinne was lured by her friend, one Promise Godwin, 20, from Isu, Mbaneze Ohazara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, to Enugu under the pretext of finding her a job to enable her fend for herself and the baby.

Family Feeds Dog With Day Old Baby

The Kastina State Police Command is holding a family of five in its custody for allegedly feeding a day-old baby boy to a dog as meal.

The incident happened at Saika village in Batsari Local Government Area.

The suspects include 15-year-old Wosila Halilu, her three stepbrothers and her mother.

It was alleged that Wosila, who is the mother of the baby, got pregnant after she was raped by a 27 year-old farmer, Musa Garba. She alleged that the farmer lured her into his farm where he committed the act.

NSCDC Rescues Two Month Old Baby Dumped in Rivers, Nigeria

Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Rivers State Command, on Friday, rescued a two-month-old baby girl that was dumped in the rain by her unidentified mother.

The baby was saved during a heavy rain at about 9.20am at New Elelenwo Manifold in Akpajo, Eleme Local Government Area, by the men of NSCDC, who were on patrol within the area.

The baby, who was said to be in a critical condition as a result of her exposure to the rain, was immediately rushed to the Welfare Department of the state NSCDC, where she was stabilised by a medical team.

Woman Sells Sister's Unborn Baby For N100k in Lagos, Nigeria

The police in Lagos State have launched a manhunt for a woman, Amaka Ogua, for allegedly selling the unborn child of her younger sister, Nkechi, for N100,000 in the Mile 2 area of the state.

It was gathered that Amaka, who the police accused of running a baby factory, had already collected N50,000 from a client for the unborn child.

PUNCH Metro learnt that a balance of N50,000 was agreed to be paid when 31-year-old Nkechi was delivered of the baby.

However, the bubble burst on Friday, June 24, when the police got a tip-off from a non-governmental organisation – Child Protection Network – that money had been allegedly paid to Nkechi’s sister for the unborn child.

Stepmother Remanded For Cutting Off Baby’s Penis

A 22-year-old woman, Bara’atu Rabiu,who cut off the penis of her rival’s one-month-old baby, has been remanded in the Minna Medium Security Prison.

According to PUNCH Metro,the suspect had been married to her husband, Mohammed Rabiu, for seven years, without a child.

She allegedly cut off the baby’s penis to punish him for marrying a second wife.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Bala James, explained that the suspect wanted to kill the victim, adding that the child, who was named after President Muhammadu Buhari, survived the attack.

He said,

“The woman used a sharp knife to cut through the genitals of the one-month-old baby. She had been married to her husband for seven years without any child. So, out of pressure, the man decided to marry a second wife.

A couple are celebrating the arrival of their first child - despite both being in their SEVENTIES.

Pensioners Daljinder Kaur, 72, from Amritsar, and her 79-year-old husband Mohinder Singh Gill, gave birth to a healthy baby boy on April 19.

The couple, from India, have been married for 47 years - but only decided to seek fertility treatment following the end of a family feud.

Gill, a farmer, said:

 "I felt upset as I was unable to produce a child.
"After sometime we thought of having a baby, once again."

Report emanating has it that a woman, who was part of some Lagosians that woke up very early to queue for fuel before 7:00am, was seen in labour.

According to the report, a pregnant woman suddenly went into labour early morning today, before at Anthony bus stop taxi Park by VIO/LASTMA office, Lagos, but fortunately for her, some women who were around with their wrappers decided to help take the delivery while some people were calling the emergency ambulance.

A woman has given birth to five healthy daughters in just half an hour despite only thinking she was pregnant with one child.

Manita Singh, 25, was admitted to a local government hospital in Ambikapur, in Chhattisgarh in eastern India, yesterday morning after complaining of labour pains at 26 weeks of pregnancy.

The doctors, who started delivering the babies at 11am found she was carrying not one but five baby girls – because Manita had never had an ultrasound.

The babies, all weighing just over 3lbs each, are under doctor’s supervision in the neo-natal Intensive Care Unit.

The father of the infants, Mahesh Singh, 26, is extremely happy with the birth of his daughters.

A woman gave birth to still born sextuplets in Benue state. 

According to Benueinfo, the wife of a former vigilante group leader delivered  the six still born babies at a private clinic yesterday in Tse-Agberagba, Konshisha Local Government Area of Benue State. 

The pregnancy was about four months old.........

A shocking image has emerged showing a refugee mother washing her newborn baby in a puddle.

The mother was forced to wash her child using the puddle water outside her tent in the Greek border village of Idomeni.

She is one of around 14,000 migrants stuck at the border with Macedonia after several Balkan countries closed their borders to prevent families from crossing.

Thousands of migrants are arriving in Greece each day and not many are leaving, which has caused a major problem in overcrowded areas.

Tensions are flaring in the Idomeni camp where there have reportedly been fights among refugees as supplies and food were distributed out.

This baby was brought back to life after his heart stopped. Lincoln Seay was born with his heart on the wrong wide of his body causing serious health complications. 

Four days after he went into cardiac arrest, a heart transplant became available for him. For the moment Doctors were able to stabilize Lincoln's vitals.

But as they were prepping him for heart transplant surgery his heart stopped and he died.

Doctors quickly opened his chest and started manually pressing his heart till they connected him to the heart bypass machine.

A Month Old Baby Abandoned Inside Carton Box In Lagos, Nigeria

The police at FESTAC Town police station and a leader of the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) have rescued a-month-old baby, who was abandoned in an Indomie carton.

The baby was sighted by the OPC leader in Amuwo Odofin, simply identified as Suleiman Badmus, who rescued the baby and handed her over to the police.

The baby is now being cared for by a woman police sergeant, Pamela Nwabinye, who has since the discovery been playing the role of mother to the baby.

Lagos Metro gathered that the baby, who was wearing a light blue overall, was wrapped in a white shawl and carefully placed in the carton.
