Woman Sets Guinness World Record with 17 Month Long ‪‎Pregnancy

A woman from ‪‎China‬ allegedly set a Guinness World Record recently with her 17-month-long--and counting--pregnancy.

According to People's China Daily, the woman, named Wang Shi, became pregnant last February. Her due date was Nov. 15, but the date came and went with Wang's baby showing no intention of entering the world. 

Worried, Wang went to the hospital every seven to 10 days after her due date passed for check-ups. Doctors ruled out a Cesarean in the 14th month of pregnancy because the fetus was still in stage two--not mature enough for the operation.

35 year Old Barber Kills Woman in Rape Attempt

Police in Kano on Wednesday arrested a 35-year-old barber, Mr. Shamsu Isah, for allegedly killing a 21-year-old woman at the Karkasara quarters in the Kano metropolis.

The Kano State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Magaji Majiya, confirmed the arrest of the suspect in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Kano.

Majiya said the deceased, Miss Rejoice Isaac, was allegedly murdered by the suspect on August 3 and buried in an uncompleted building at Karkasara Quarters.

He said after the arrest of the suspect, Isah led policemen to the area where he buried the deceased after killing her.

Doctor Rapes Woman During Abortion

A doctor allegedly raped a woman during an abortion procedure two weeks after he masturbated in front of her during a physical examination, a court has heard.

According to Tribune 242, after Dr. Gerald Mark Forbes informed the 20-year-old she would need a medical examination to work at his clinic in Freeport, the Bahamas, last February, he was alleged to have rubbed her vagina and masturbated before her.

The report added that two week’s later, after the victim asked him to terminate a pregnancy, he was accused of raping her during the procedure.

The 47-year-old is also said to have given the alleged victim a packet of Methotrexate, a drug used to induce abortions.

 A 20 year old Kansas woman has given birth to three set of twins in a little over two years, with the latest born last month.

“People just consider me a freak of nature when I tell them,” said the 20-year-old mom, who apparently has a condition in which she releases more than one egg per month.

Youth Corper Charged to Court for Repeatedly Having Sex with Married Woman

A National Youth Service Corps member named Bonaventure Okeke, has been arraigned in a Gudu Upper Area Court, Abuja for allegedly committing adultery.

Okeke, who resides in Jahi 2 Market area of Abuja, was arraigned on a one-count charge of committing adultery with one Anozie Chinenye on Monday.

The plaintiff who is husband to Chinenye, Emeka Anozie of Hayingada Saminaka, Kaduna State, made a direct criminal complaint to the court against the defendant on March 24.

Anozie made his complaint through his counsel, Obioma Achilefu.

Pregnant Woman Beaten to Death for Owing Co-Trader in Oyo, Nigeria

A textile trader in Gbagi Market, Ibadan, Oyo State, Kudirat Oduola, has been beaten to death by thugs allegedly sent by a co-trader who lent her N2m.

Our correspondent learnt that the deceased, who was three months pregnant, had approached one Oriekun to assist her with the money to buy textile materials.

The deceased’s brother, Abdulahi Asimolowo, said Oduola paid the N2m debt five months after it was borrowed, adding that Oriekun, however, insisted that she would collect N400,000 as interest for five months.

Man Stabs Pregnant Woman To Death During Argument

The police in Kogi State have arrested a man, Hussain Zubairu, for allegedly stabbing his pregnant neighbour, Bose Muhammed, to death.

Zubairu and the pregnant woman lived in the Idogido community of Okene Local Government Area of the state.

He was said to have stabbed the woman in the stomach with a pair of scissors.

She was rushed to a hospital in the area but died on arrival.

Okugbeni asked the victim for a kiss and pulled his own trousers down- and his victim reacted in fear she was about to be raped.

Woman Wins Battle To Use Her Dead Daughter's Frozen Eggs To Give Birth To Her Own GRANDCHILD

A WOMAN has won the battle and right to give birth to her own grandchild using her dead daughter's frozen eggs.

The grieving 60-year-old begged the Court of Appeal to help her to fulfil the last wishes of her "much-loved and only child", who lost a battle with bowel cancer in 2011. 

The landmark ruling - believed to be the first in British history - allows the grandmother to travel overseas and use a sperm donor. 

And it overturns an earlier High Court decision to dismiss the case.

Lawyers for the woman and her husband, referred to only as Mr and Mrs M, told how the eggs would be allowed to "perish" if they were not allowed to carry out their daughter's desperate last wish.

A lecturer in the Theatre Arts Department of the College of Education Oju in Benue State, Godwin Abuul, has been allegedly murdered by his wife for cheating on her. ‎It was gathered that Abuul, who went missing about two weeks ago in Gboko, was killed by his wife.

She allegedly dumped his remains in River Katsina/Ala.

According to Vanguard ,the deceased was declared missing in Gboko two weeks ago after returning from Oju where he lectured at the state owned College of Education.

Narrating the story, a family source said,

“Goddy used to lecture at the College of Education in Oju. He travels weekly from here in Gboko to Oju to lecture, after which he returns to Gboko to spend his weekend with his wife and two children.

Drunken Graduates Stab, Rob, Rape Woman in Lagos, Nigeria

Two graduates, Desmond Quadri and Richard Orji, have been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly raping a woman in the Ajah area.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the suspects had attended a party together where they had some bottles of alcoholic drink.

After the party, 24-year-old Quadri was said to have gone into the bush to defecate and was accompanied by his friend, Orji, 25.The men, who had reportedly been friends for eight years, were said to have spotted the victim in her room alone and sneaked into the compound.

Orji was alleged to have stabbed the 32-year-old in the shoulder and thigh, before taking her phones, Ipad, perfumes and other personal effects.

26 Year Old Woman Bath With Acid in Abuja, Accuses Lover's Wife

26-year-old Jamila Musa from Edo State who was on Sunday, May 30, attacked with acid in her home has accused her boyfriend's wife for her travails, the Nation, reports.

According to Jamila, who works with Flour Mills, Nigeria,  about 10pm, she heard a familiar voice at her door, saying he had a message from her boyfriend. The victim said she recognised the voice as that of the wife’s brother and that was why she opened the door.

"A minute to 10pm on Sunday, I was sleeping in my room when I heard a knock on my door. I didn’t recognise the voice immediately but now I am sure of the voice. He said my boyfriend sent him to give me a message. My boyfriend usually sends motorcycle operators to me so I assumed he was the one that sent this one and as I was trying to open the door, he poured the acid on my face.

Woman Following GPS Directions Drives Her Car Into Lake

CityNews: Ontario Provincial Police say the 23-year-old woman from Kitchener, Ont., was following a route on her car’s GPS while driving in the dark on Thursday night in Tobermory.

They say she made a turn that took her straight into Little Tub Harbour on the shores of Lake Huron, where her car sank about 30 metres from shore.

Police say the woman was able to roll down the window and swim to safety in water temperatures of 4 C.

They say she did not suffer any injuries.
