Woman Sets World Records, Gives Birth To Her 14th Child From 14 Different Fathers

The Guinness World Records Book just got a lot bigger when 36-year old, Anita Sullivan, gave birth to her 14th child, by her 14th baby father on Wednesday at the Harper University Hospital.

According to the internationally recognized authority on the cataloguing and verification of world records, Anita Sullivan has just become the first woman in recorded history to conceive children with more than thirteen different men.

“I’m extremely proud to have broken a World Record,” Anita told reporters. “My mother always told me that I was lazy and worthless, and that I would never accomplish anything in my life. Now, I’ve shown everyone that she was wrong, and that I can even be the best in the world when I put my mind to something. In fact, I’ve just accomplished something that no one had done before!”

Meet Devendra Suthar, an Indian man who holds the record for the most number of fingers and toes in the world.... Seven on each hand and feet.

But Davendra is worried? Why? Not because he has a multitude of fingers. No, he is worried that he might lose one of the extra fingers he considers as God's 'blessing' because of his risky job as a carpenter.

The 43-year-old, from Himmatnagar in Gujarat, western India, has a total of 28 fingers and toes, the most digits of anyone in the world - a feat recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records.

He suffers from Polydactylism, meaning he has seven fingers on each hand and seven toes in each feet - albeit two toes are joined.

Meet the World's Tallest Female Teenager: Rumeysa Gelgi

Rumeysa Gelgi, a 17-year-old girl from Turkey has been named the Worlds tallest female teenager. At 7ft tall ,she received the Guinness World Record award  in her hometown of Safranbolu, Karabük.

Rumeysa whose height is caused by a condition,Weaver Syndrome( a rare genetic disorder that causes rapid growth)is also an 11th grade high school student and her parents and older siblings, are all ‘normal’ height.

Book Of Psalms Sets World Record At Auction

A tiny book of psalms from 1640 has sold for $14.2m (£8.8m) in New York City, setting an auction record for a printed book. The Bay Psalm Book is believed to be the first book printed in what is now the US.

Sotheby's offered it for sale on Tuesday evening. The presale estimate was $15m to $30m. It was bought by US businessman and philanthropist David Rubenstein, who plans to lend it to libraries around the country.

Only 11 copies of the Bay Psalm Book survive in varying degrees of completeness. The book sold was one of two copies held by Boston's Old South Church

For the record, he crossed a 3.5m (11.4ft) rope in 18.22 seconds.

R.I.P. – World’s Oldest Person Dies At The Age Of 116 In Japan

Japan’s Jiroemon Kimura, who had been recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world’s oldest living person and the oldest man ever, died Wednesday of natural causes. He was 116. Kimura, of Kyotango, Japan, was born April 19, 1897. Officials in Kyotango said he died in a local hospital, where he had been undergoing treatment for pneumonia.

According to Guinness, Kimura was the first man in history to have lived to 116 years old. Kimura became the oldest man ever on Dec. 28, 2012, at the age of 115 years, 253 days, breaking the record set by Christian Mortensen, a Danish immigrant to the United States, whose life spanned from 1882-1998.

Another Japanese, 115-year-old Misao Okawa, of Osaka, now holds the title of oldest living person. Okawa, who was born March 5, 1898, is also the world’s oldest living woman.

Svetlana Pankratova Claims World Record for Longest Female Legs

Svetlana Pankratova owns the world record for longest female legs.

What she really wants to own is a high school basketball title.

The former Russian women’s basketball standout and VCU college player is now an assistant coach at Falls Church (Va.) George Mason High.

Pankratova married a Falls Church resident, Jack Gosnell, taking a position as an assistant coach at Mason High, one of the state’s top girls programs.

Being a girls basketball coach certainly seems like a reasonable occupation for a woman who happens to be blessed with the world's longest legs.

Pankratova’s legs stretch 4-feet-4, more than two-thirds of her 6-foot-5 frame, and almost as tall as Snooki before you even get above her waist.

WORLD’S TALLEST HOTEL OPENS IN DUBAI

Dubai's newest hotel, an elevator ride is a journey in itself.

The JW Marriott Marquis Dubai officially opened Wednesday as the world's tallest hotel.

Granted the official record from the Guinness Book of World Records, the latest icon in Dubai's skyline is made up of two towers standing 72 stories, 1,164 feet. Only one tower is currently open; the second is slated to open in 2014.
