A transgender Pakistani woman died after being shot 8 times then was turned away from the local hospital reports Rawstory:

Alesha, a 23-year-old transgender District Coordinator for TransAction in northern Pakistan, was attacked and shot eight times, according to a Facebook post from the organization. Her friends rushed her to the hospital, but doctors wouldn’t treat her and she died Wednesday morning.

“Congratulations KP Govt,” TransAction posted. “The TransAction Board Member and the district coordinator of the transgender Provincial Alliance Alesha died in LRH because she never received intensive medical attention.”

Babies born out of rape or illicit relationships were being delivered at this hospital and sold for adoption. Two new-borns have been rescued from the 30-bed Palash Hospital in Gwalior's Murar area, Times of India reports..
An investigating officer said:

"When a girl or her parents approached them for termination of pregnancies, doctors at this hospital used to convince them assuring a safe and secret delivery. Once baby is delivered and mother gets discharged, hospital authorities start hunting for gullible couples who could buy them,"

Woman Sets World Records, Gives Birth To Her 14th Child From 14 Different Fathers

The Guinness World Records Book just got a lot bigger when 36-year old, Anita Sullivan, gave birth to her 14th child, by her 14th baby father on Wednesday at the Harper University Hospital.

According to the internationally recognized authority on the cataloguing and verification of world records, Anita Sullivan has just become the first woman in recorded history to conceive children with more than thirteen different men.

“I’m extremely proud to have broken a World Record,” Anita told reporters. “My mother always told me that I was lazy and worthless, and that I would never accomplish anything in my life. Now, I’ve shown everyone that she was wrong, and that I can even be the best in the world when I put my mind to something. In fact, I’ve just accomplished something that no one had done before!”

10-Month-Old Baby, Who Survive Reunites With ‘Missing’ Mother in Hospital

A 10-month-old baby simply identified as Goodness, who was rescued from the scene of the Monday bomb blast in Nyanya near Abuja,  has been reunited with her mother in hospital.

Goodness was separated from her mother, Gloria Adams, who was presumed dead in the explosion. Before she was taken from the Asokoro Hospital to the Wuse General Hospital where her mother is receiving treatment in  the Intensive Care Unit, Goodness spent Tuesday morning sleeping.

Medical workers and her aunt, Maria Dominic, looked after the little baby who had only a slight swelling close to one of her eyes. Her mother suffered severe injuries and is one of the two left in the Wuse General Hospital’s ICU after one other victim died.

Florida Man Arrested For Doing Drugs In Hospital Maternity Ward - Via TC Palm reports: A rock concert is a place where it might be common to smell someone smoking marijuana. A hospital’s delivery and infant unit is not.

A Feb. 4 report of pot smoking in that area of Martin Medical Center in Stuart brought police to the hospital.

A security official told police the charge nurse in the delivery unit caught a whiff of spliff being smoked in a particular room, according to a recently released arrest affidavit.

David Bastin, 28, of Jupiter, wound up getting busted on misdemeanor marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession charges.

Rita Ora Stretchered into Ambulance After Collapsing at Photo Shoot in Miami due to 'Heat Exhaustion & Dehydration'

Rita Ora collapsed on the set of a photo shoot in Miami Beach, Florida on Monday. The singer was rushed to hospital after appearing to pass out, according to onlookers.  She was seen being carried out of her makeup trailer and stretchered into an ambulance before being taken to the emergency room where she was treated for 'heat exhaustion and dehydration'.  Dr David Farcy MD- Chairman of the Emergency Department at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami, told MailOnline in a statement: 'Rita Ora was treated for heat exhaustion and dehydration at our hospital today. OJB Discharged From Hospital In India, Thanks Fans For Support

OJB has been discharged from a hospital in India after a successful kidney transplant. The ace music producer sent out a release thanking everyone and said he will be home soon. Find statement below.

Nigeria Police Arrest Fake LUTH doctor

According to a report by Vanguard the Lagos State Police Command on Thursday October 18th paraded a 40-year-old man, Adeyemi Stephen Akintolure (pictured above), a suspected fake medical doctor, who claimed to be a staff of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH, with card No. 13541, identifying him as a surgeon and gynaecologist.

He said he is from Ondo State, studied Marketing at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, as a part-time student and graduated in 1997.

The fake medical doctor was said to have fraudulently obtained N500,000 from one Joy Umosekhaimhe of 2, Adesanya Close, Ifeko-Gbagada.

Akintolure, who said he uses the wife’s car as a mobile clinic, said the money in question was borrowed from Umosekhaimhe, adding “actually, it was not N500,000. It was N260,000 she lent me to use for my brother’s ailment.”

Usher's Son Hospitalized After Pool Accident

Usher Raymond V, the singer's eldest son with his ex-wife Tameka Foster (their youngest son Naviyd Ely is 4), was taken to the hospital on Monday after a pool accident at the singer's home. According to TMZ, Usher's son attempted to retrieve a toy in a pool drain when his arm got stuck. A supervising adult as well as a maid tried unsuccessfully to rescue him.

Thankfully, according to the report, two male employees working inside the home eventually freed the child, who was given CPR and then rushed to an Atlanta-area hospital, where both Tameka and Usher are said to be keeping vigil at his side.

Only last July, the family suffered a tragedy when Foster's 11-year-old son Kile Glover died after being struck by a jet ski while on an inner tube in Georgia's Lake Lanier.
