Drugs In Hospital Maternity Ward - Via TC Palm reports: A rock concert is a place
where it might be common to smell someone smoking marijuana. A hospital’s delivery
and infant unit is not.
A Feb. 4 report of pot smoking in that area of
Martin Medical Center in Stuart brought police to the hospital.
A security official told police the charge
nurse in the delivery unit caught a whiff of spliff being smoked in a particular
room, according to a recently released arrest affidavit.
David Bastin, 28, of Jupiter, wound up getting
busted on misdemeanor marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession charges.
