Tupac's Mum, Afeni Shakur Took Care Of All His Music & Financial Legacy Before Her Death

Afeni Shakur made sure to take meticulous care of her son’s vast musical legacy before her tragic passing. 

According to TMZ, Tupac’s mother did right behind him her entire life.

Afeni had set up a trust to control all of Tupac’s music rights, and a rep for his estate tells us the paperwork is flawless. She also named the perfect executor, Tom Whalley — former head of Warner Bros. Records — to handle Tupac’s valuable catalog.

We’re told the trust is very specific about heirs, and the money is going to select charities and family. Afeni is survived by her sister, Gloria, and a daughter, Sekyiwa Shakur … Tupac’s half sister.

Katt Williams Arrested By Police For Fighting Teenager

Katt Williams is in custody again -- policemen scooped him up Wednesday for his brawl with a 17-year-old teenager. 

Gainesville PD in Georgia told TMZ  ... officers showed up at Katt's house and arrested him. As we told you, an arrest warrant was issued on Monday. Katt was booked around 2:30 PM, and will be held until his court appearance Thursday.

No DNA Discovered On Mystery Knife Found Buried Under O.J. Simpson’s House

It turns out the LAPD didn’t discover the knife that killed Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman 21 years after it would have mattered after all. 

Despite suspicions that a potential murder weapon was found on O.J.’s property a few years after the trial and randomly kept under wraps for another 18 years…DNA evidence to link it to the murders is unsurprisingly nonexistent.

TMZ: LAPD detectives hit a dead end with the knife that was buried on O.J. Simpson’s Rockingham estate … TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the situation tell us, the DNA testing produced no matches. We’re told the microbes in the soil degraded any DNA to the point it was impossible to get a meaningful result.

Buck Knife Could Produce Ron and Nicole's Fatal Wounds in O.J. Simpson Murder Case

The knife found buried on O.J. Simpson's former estate was more than capable of inflicting the mortal wounds on Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman ... so says the man who examined the wounds of the victims.

Dr. Irwin Golden, who served as the Deputy Medical Examiner, testified in the O.J. Simpson case and performed both autopsies, tells TMZ the folding buck knife could have severely cut both victims. Nicole was brutally attacked with a deep neck wound -- 2 1/2 inches deep and 5 1/2 inches across -- and Golden says a 4" blade could have done the deed.  We broke the story ... the knife in question has a 5" blade.

Sources connected with the 1994 investigation and others involved in the evaluation of the knife tell us there was always a wide belief among LAPD cops that Simpson used a buck knife.

Rapper  Kanye had tweeted that he was in $53m debt but according to online celebrity gossip website TMZ, the amount is accurate but it's not a debt. 

TMZ reports.... The answer to that $53 million question -- how the hell is Kanye West that deep in debt -- is that he isn't, but he does spend a ton ... on himself.

Sources connected to Kanye tell TMZ the number -- $53 mil -- reflects how much dough 'Ye has invested in his own companies related to fashion and music. For instance, we're told he's sunk $40 million alone into 3 seasons worth of Yeezy fashion!

Kanye West mocked Ray J during his album release concert Thursday -- about both of them having sex with Kim Kardashian -- but we've learned Kanye called Ray ahead of time to squash any beef.

Kardashian Family Fears Rob's Back on Drugs ... Blames Blac Chyna

Rob Kardashian is contacting his old party buddies and his family thinks it's a sign he's off the wagon in a big way ... and they blame it all on Blac Chyna. 

Sources connected to the Kardashians tell TMZ, about 2 weeks ago -- the same day Khloe came home from a trip and found Rob and Chyna in her kitchen -- someone in the family received a call from a guy who used to party with Rob. We're told the guy is now clean and wanted them to know Rob had been calling other party friends as well, and he says Rob was trying to score drugs.

Chyna wanted to make it appear she was making Rob healthy again, cooking for him and inspiring him to exercise. Yet as we first reported, in addition to being drunk in Austin, cops say they found ecstasy pills in her sunglasses case.

Hollywood Actress Sofia Vergara Sues Venus Says Her Face Will Cost At Least $15 Million

Sofia Vergara was used and financially abused by a beauty company ... according to a lawsuit she just filed.

Sofia says Venus Concept blew up images of her and used them to promote its products around the world. In the suit, she says the whole thing started with an innocent Instagram post.

Sofia says she got Venus' Legacy treatment -- it's a skin tightening massage -- in August 2014. She posted a pic of herself on the table ... which got about 40k likes.

However, she says she actually didn't like the treatment and found it  "a waste of time and money with little in the way of any results."

Chris Brown To Remain In Jail Until June

According to TMZ: Chris Brown will rot behind bars until June — at the very least — because the singer’s latest bid for freedom was just DENIED.

Brown — who was jailed last month after getting booted from rehab — was flown to D.C. and promptly jailed as he awaited trial in his assault case.

The trial was supposed to start today … but it was just postponed until June.

Brown asked the judge in the Rihanna beating case to release him, but the judge just shut him down.

Justin Bieber to Selena Gomez: Don't Blame Me, You Drunk

Justin Bieber is reportedly far from pleased that he's being blamed for Selena Gomez's rehab stint, saying his former flame is a party girl through and through. The addiction problems that resulted in Gomez checking into rehab are hers and hers alone, says Bieber, regardless of what he and his friends do for fun.

 

TMZ, citing "sources with daily Bieber contact" (Lil Za?) says the star and his posse are laughing at the "bad influence" claims reported in the press. That's because Selena, they say, is always the drunk girl at the party.

Bieber acknowledges he gets trashed, too. There's no dispute there, nor could there possibly be, given the stories, photos and videos we've all seen. What he does dispute is the idea that he corrupted her, seeing she was known to smoke just as much weed as the guys and sometimes outdo them. Justin's camp say Gomez was/is very into drinking alcohol as well.

Justin Bieber Pulls A Michael Jackson

Justin Bieber is suffering from the same delusion that Michael Jackson once embraced -- putting on a false air of confidence when behind the scenes their lives are falling apart. You'll recall the scene with MJ back in 2004 ... after his arraignment on child molestation charges.  Michael famously jumped on his SUV and waived and smiled, trying to convince everyone things were ok.

Justin did the same thing Thursday as he left jail ... after being busted for DUI and resisting arrest. As much as both of them protested ... Michael and Justin had the same Achilles' heel -- drugs.  Michael was hooked on a pharmacy of prescription drugs, and Justin has an enormous problem with sizzurp.

It didn't end well for Michael.  It's not too late for Justin.

MJ Estate lawyer Howard Weitzman fired off a cease and desist letter to Murray earlier this week, writing, “Your recent comments to the media about Mr. Jackson’s medical treatment and ultimate death shamefully violate the physician-patient privilege under California law.”

According to TMZ reports: Jermaine Jackson could be playing to 5,000 people soon … the inmates at a L.A. County Jail … a place he may be calling home soon if he doesn’t ante up back child support.

Jermaine is falling farther and farther behind …. he’s required to pay baby mama Alejandra Jackson $3K a month for 13-year-old Jermajesty and 17-year-old Jaafar … but the mailbox has been empty for months.

Court docs obtained by TMZ show … of the $12K that he owes in back payments … he’s only coughed up a measly 85 bucks.

Khloe Kardashian is laying down the law. Either Lamar Odom goes to rehab and actually sticks with it this time or he can pack his things and hit the road.

He is not welcome back in their home until he gets clean.

As has been well documented, Lamar Odom has a problem with drugs and has been unwilling to address it since his addiction spun out of control.

Khloe Kardashian has kicked him out before, only to cave and take him back, but Lamar's DUI arrest Friday morning was apparently the last straw.

According to reports, Lamar didn't even call Khloe OR his lawyers after the arrest, leaving them to find out when TMZ broke the story hours later.

Fan Threatens to Murder Little Sister Unless Rapper J. Cole Re-Tweets Him

A fan of rapper J. Cole threatened to kill his own sister if Cole didn't re-tweet him, posting the terrifying image you see below on his feed. He is now the subject of a police investigation.

A rep for the New Braunfels, Tex., police say the message and photo were brought to their attention and prompted officials to look into the matter.

The rep says the teenager in question was using an unloaded BB gun, "is cooperating and it seems this was just a bad lapse in judgment."

The department notes that "this is still an open investigation," but "for the time being no charges are being filed." The kid is also very, very sorry.

"I'd like to apologize to America for the photo and to put J. Cole in that position. It was all a joke," he told TMZ. "It was an unloaded BB gun."
