Talented singer, Tuface Idibia, Kola Solu and Capital F.E.M.I were the artistes who thrilled the audience at the 5th Men of the Year Awards organized by Mode Men magazine on Saturday.
The awards held at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos, attracted prominent individuals like Dr. Newton Jibunoh and Udo Okonjo. TV, radio, comedy, movies, fashion and entertainment personalities were also present.
The organisers, in a statement, said that the Managing Director and Chief Executive, Guinness Nigeria Plc, Mr. Seni Adetu said that Johnnie Walker and Mode Men have a lot in common.
He was quoted as saying, “Johnnie Walker identifies with Mode Men magazine’s Men of the Year Awards because of shared values. They both recognise and celebrate.’’
Founder, iROKO TV, Jason Njoku clinched “The Striding Man” award, sponsored by Johnnie Walker. He thus became The Striding Man of 2012 by virtue of “his approach to life’s many challenges.”
