A woman gave birth to still born sextuplets in Benue state. 

According to Benueinfo, the wife of a former vigilante group leader delivered  the six still born babies at a private clinic yesterday in Tse-Agberagba, Konshisha Local Government Area of Benue State. 

The pregnancy was about four months old.........

Man Beheads Step Mother in Benue, Nigeria

Obaganya community, a suburb in Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State, was thrown into deep mourning yesterday after a middle-aged man, Echeno Adakole, beheaded his 50-year-old step-mother, Titi Enokela, allegedly for ritual purpose. 

Vanguard learned that the suspect allegedly ambushed the victim at a family farm settlement, hit her with a piece of wood and cut off her head. He thereafter wrapped it with the dead woman’s cloth and
put it in a polyethylene bag.

 “family members noticed that the woman had not returned from the farm and it was getting dark. Her children and other family members went looking for her; they found her headless body tucked away in a corner of the family farm.

This woman, a mother of four and wife to a Late Major (rtd), and Proprietor of a popular school in Orokam, Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State was stripped n*ked alongside one of her numerous boyfriends in the village's market square.

According to eyewitnesses, the woman's husband had died last Monday, 17th of September after a brief illness. Only for his wife to be caught cheating on the 19th of September. To make matters worse, she allegedly confessed publicly to poisoning him so she can keep up with her extra-marital affairs.

They said this happened in Benue State and the two girls fought over a sugar daddy. But a better source has said, it is not true, that the girls fought because one of them called the other's mother a prostitute. In order to retaliate, she cut her friend's face deeply with a razor blade. It was learnt that people who were passing by, who saw how deep the cut was, ordered the other girl to remove her clothes to serve as punishment for her. But when she refused, the men forcefully removed her clothes and stripped her naked. Continue below...

Peter Anyiman an indigene of Benue State was lucky enough to have his State Governor as his best man at his wedding.  The Governor said Mr Peter is a very diligent man who deserves to be honoured. According to him, Mr Peter who is a cook, serving Catholic Priest, Rev. Father Michael Tumba in Abuja  had demonstrated a true commitment to his duties for 18 years and deserved to be honoured. Just like a best man would do, he helped the groom to adjust his tie and also cleaned his face at intervals.

SAD TALE: This baby will never know her mum

This baby will never know her mother. Her mother will never sing lullaby to her or rock her to sleep. Worse still, she will never suckle from her mother’s breast.

This is because just one week after her birth, suspected Fulani herdsmen invaded their community in Mbalaagh Council Ward of Makurdi Local Government Area of Benue State and murdered her mother, Felicia Asongo.

The baby, who looks so smallish for her age, was lucky to have been smuggled away from the crisis by her grandmother during the attack in which 27 people were allegedly killed. She is now being fed with baby milk under the watchful eyes of her aged grandmother.

For more than two weeks now, over 200 members of the Mbalaagh Community have been taking refuge in the North Bank area of Makurdi, with some of them sleeping under trees after the gruesome invasion.
