Man Murders Wife’s Lover On Matrimonial Bed in Ogun, Nigeria

A 32-year-old businessman, Ezekiel Igbokwe, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly killing his wife’s lover, Victor Olatundun.

Igbokwe was said to have killed Olatundun after he caught him having sex with his wife at their matrimonial home.

The suspect, who committed the crime on Wednesday, July 27, was arrested by the police the following day.

Igbokwe and his 28-year-old wife were paraded at the Ogun State Police Command headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, on Thursday.

According to Punch ,Igbokwe, who said he was a businessman, explained that he had returned from his trip to Onitsha and met Victor on top of his wife on their matrimonial bed.

Private School Teacher in Ogun State beaten By Mob After Parent Caught Him Sexually Abusing Male Pupil

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a private school teacher, Matthew Sodeke, for alleged child abuse in Igbala community in the  Sango Ota area of the state.

It was learnt that Sodeke, an English Language teacher, was caught sucking the private parts of a male pupil.

The teacher was reportedly caught by a parent who had come to pick his child in the school.

According to PUNCH Metro it was gathered that the teacher allegedly sexually assaulted the 16-year-old boy, identified only as Ajala, in one of the offices of the school after closing hours.

On Tuesday, July 12, around 4pm, Sodeke was said to have called the pupil upstairs into one of the offices.

Rapists Strangle UTME Candidate, Dump Her Corpse Inside Bush'

Parents of 20-year-old Joan Egemba, have been thrown into mourning after their daughter was stabbed and strangled by some suspected rapists in the Ijebu Igbo area of Ogun State.

Joan, who bagged a National Diploma in Accountancy from the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State, enrolled for the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the deceased left her home in the Odo Eran, Sango-Ota area around 12pm on Thursday, March 3, for the National Open University of Nigeria centre in Awa Ijebu, where she was posted to sit for the exam the following day.

It was learnt that on Thursday evening, she was abducted at the Ijebu Oru Junction – a few distance away from the centre – by persons suspected to be rapists.

Her corpse was said to be found in a bush at the back of a secondary school in Ijebu Igbo with cuts in her thighs.

Secondary School Student Dies During Money Ritual in Ogun, Nigeria

16-year-old, Raimi Fatai, from Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital, reportedly died while trying to make money rituals. It was gathered the deceased whose father is a herbalist had wanted to make money ritual by himself so he gathered 3 of his friends and copied some of his Dad's written money ritual process. 

However, the plan to use his Dad's process was unsuccessful which led to his death.

According to P.M News, this incident took place during the Valentine period.

Fatai reportedly followed the instructions from the copy of his Dad's money ritual process and consumed some substance, which he also administered to one of his other friends.  

He fell ill shortly and died 2 days later while his other friend is said to be in a critical condition in a hospital in Abeokuta.

Woman Delivered of First Child From Four Year Old Pregnancy

There was shock and amazement in Ikugbomire in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area, Ogun State, on Wednesday as a woman was delivered of a baby from a pregnancy she had carried for four years. People trooped to Alayo Vantage Hospital from far and near for a glimpse of the miracle baby.

Before she was delivered of the baby, the happy mother had become the butt of taunts and ridicule in the community, particularly after a scan conducted on her protruding tummy indicated that all she had in it was fibroid. 

The arrival of the baby therefore marked the end of years of anxiety for 33-year-old Oluwabunmi and her 42-year-old husband, Bankole Ogidan. 
 According to her husband, Bankole Ogidan, their wedding took place on August 27, 2011.
 “We were full of hope about having children and raising a complete family. But we had to wait till August 2013 before she got pregnant exactly two years after,” he said.

Redeemers University Student Kills Father at Redemption Camp

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a 21-year-old undergraduate, Tolani Ajayi, of Redeemers University along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, for allegedly killing his father, Mr. Charles Ajayi, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.

The incident, according to the police, occurred on Tuesday, July 3, at their residence on Canaanland Street within the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s Redemption Camp.

Tolani was said to have slaughtered his father with a knife and later butchered him with a cutlass.
It's learnt that Tolani afterwards allegedly packed his father’s remains in a box and dragged them into the bush within the camp.

Ritualist Beheads Two-Year-Old Boy, Rapes Mother in Ogun

A suspected ritualist, yesterday,  beheaded a two‑year‑old boy and raped his mother in a bush in Ofada town  in Obafemi‑Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State

The suspect,  Momodu  Bashir Ibrahim, was said to have trailed the mother, who had her boy strapped on her back, as she  went to  ease herself in a bush in the area.

An eye witness told Vanguard that the victim went into a nearby bush to ease herself, not suspecting that she was being trailed.

According  to the source, the suspect suddenly pounced on the woman, dragged her along with her baby into an uncompleted building and raped her.

“The suspect after raping the woman, stabbed her and  killed the boy before he severed his head.

“Luckily, someone, who suspected the suspect’s  movement, trailed him to the building but escaped and was able to rescue the woman with the headless body of the boy,” the source said.

Exposed: Police arrest five with human parts in Joju, Ogun State, Nigeria

Policemen attached to the Ogun state Police Command Saturday morning arrested two ladies and three men for possessing human heads and some pieces of human flesh.
The five suspects were apprehended in Joju area of Ota in Ado Odo Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State in a joint operation conducted by the a team from Otta Divisional Police Headquarters led by Mr Gabriel Dibie and the Special Anti Robbery Squad from the Lagos Command.
It was gathered that the police team from Ota assisted the SARS, Lagos, who got the first hand information the activities of the suspects at the Joju area where they were arrested following a tip off from the people of the area.

Video: Police Discover Baby-making Factory in Ogun State, Arrest Owner

The Ogun State Police Command, on Friday, paraded 10 suspects in connection with a baby making factory located at Sebanjo Crescent, Fagbunle Bus Stop at Akute area of the state. Eight of the suspects were pregnant young women, whose ages range from 16  to 21. The factory was being run by the prime suspect, Angela Chidozie, who also lived in the four-bedroom bungalow with her husband and children. Her husband was said to be currently on the run.

The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ikemefuna Okota, said the arrest was made possible following information from the community. He said:

 “I have stressed the importance of community policing.  We got information yesterday that Chidozie was keeping pregnant juveniles in her house. After the mothers give birth, Chidozie would sell the babies for N300,000 or more while the mother of each child would be given a pittance.Video after jump:

38-Year-Old Caught With 18 Human Skulls in Ogun

The Ogun State Police Command, yesterday, said it had nabbed a 38-year-old man, Adelani Ayomide, with a bag containing 18 human skulls.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement, said the suspected ritualist was arrested at 6:48am, yesterday, on Ado-Odo, Owode Road by policemen attached to a division in Ado-Odo-Ota Local Government Area of the state.

Adejobi said: “Policemen attached to Ado-Odo Division, while on a stop-and-search exercise along Ado-Odo Owode Road sighted a pedestrian, Adelani Ayomide, 38, of Ilaro, Ogun State with a bag containing 18 human heads.

“The suspect will be transferred to the state department of investigation, Eleweran Abeokuta, for discrete investigation.

“The Commissioner of Police, Ikemefuna Okoye has assured of a thorough investigation and that he will make sure the suspect faces the full wrath of the law and assist in getting other suspects in connection with the crime.”

Man Kills Friend Over Alleged Affair With His Wife


The Nigeria police in Ogun have arrested a 30-year-old panel beater, Wasiu Yusuf, for allegedly stabbing his friend, Adeolu Olatoye, to death in Abeokuta. Another suspect in the alleged killing of the 32-year-old graphic artist, Mukaila Popoola, is currently on the run.
The suspect’s wife, 26-year-old Busayo, is also in detention at the Adatan Police Station. The victim, the suspect and his alleged accomplice lived in the same premises before the incident.
Yusuf and his accomplice in their residence in the Oke-Efon area of Abeokuta for allegedly having an affair with his wife allegedly killed Adeolu. Olatoye was said to have met his death barely two weeks after he named his newborn child.

LandLord Sets 6 People On Fire For Smoking Indian Hemp


Six young men accused of smoking Indian hemp and gambling have been set ablaze in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, by a house owner in their area.
PREMIUM TIMES learnt that the landlord, identified as Agba, in Ago-Oko area of the town where the incident occurred, had warned the boys on several occasions to desist from their acts, warnings they ignored.
However, on Tuesday night, the boys engaged in their acts in their regular building which infuriated Agba, their neighbour. The landlord subsequently poured a keg of petrol, through his window on the first floor of a storey building, on the boys.
