Man Arrested For Hacking Off Woman's Hand Before Stabbing Her To Death

A woman was hacked to death by a man with a machete while standing in the hallway of her own building in an unprovoked attacked, say police.
The woman, identified by the New York Daily News as Carmen Torres-Gonzalez, 59, was reportedly standing in the hallway of the Mott Haven Houses in the Bronx, chatting with her mother's home care health aide on Sunday afternoon, when she was attacked by a 'psychopath,' say police.
The suspect, identified as Angel Feliz-Volquez, 25, lived down the hallway from her on the same floor.


Neighbors say she was innocently speaking with the health aide when the man attacked, chopping off her hand, and then hacking her to death with a machete, reports the New York Post.

Lagos Arrest 118 Hoodlums Living Under The Bridge

No fewer than 118 suspected hoodlums have been arrested at the Oshodi area of Lagos in the early hours of Wednesday.
It was learnt that officials of the Lagos State Taskforce on Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit, stormed Oshodi around 2am and arrested the hoodlums.
The hoodlums were accused of not having any known address and using the darkness to unleash mayhem in the area.
Those arrested comprised 106 males and 12 females. PUNCH Metro gathered that over 160 persons were initially arrested, but some of them were allowed to go after a screening at the task force office in Alausa.
Task force Chairman, Bayo Sulaiman, a Chief Superintendent of Police,  said the raid at Oshodi lasted for one hour.

Video: Police Discover Baby-making Factory in Ogun State, Arrest Owner

The Ogun State Police Command, on Friday, paraded 10 suspects in connection with a baby making factory located at Sebanjo Crescent, Fagbunle Bus Stop at Akute area of the state. Eight of the suspects were pregnant young women, whose ages range from 16  to 21. The factory was being run by the prime suspect, Angela Chidozie, who also lived in the four-bedroom bungalow with her husband and children. Her husband was said to be currently on the run.

The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ikemefuna Okota, said the arrest was made possible following information from the community. He said:

 “I have stressed the importance of community policing.  We got information yesterday that Chidozie was keeping pregnant juveniles in her house. After the mothers give birth, Chidozie would sell the babies for N300,000 or more while the mother of each child would be given a pittance.Video after jump:

[Photos & Video] Boyfriend Stages Fake Arrest For Wedding Proposal Stunt & She Said YES!


One man left his girlfriend in a state of panic as he persuaded police to stage her fake arrest as part of a wacky wedding proposal. Benjamin Vienneau from New Brunswick, Canada, got an officer to pull his partner Marcia Belyea over as she was driving and threaten her with a $2,000 fee or 30 days in jail for 'unpaid fines'.

A secretly filmed YouTube video of the stunt shows Miss Belyea breaking down in tears as she sits in the sheriff's car before Mr Vienneau appears with an engagement ring and asks her to marry him.

The police officer is heard saying: 'It's highly unorthodox, it's not something the force normally does, [but] Ben and I have come to an agreement. Photos and video after cut:

Police Arrest Man For Selling Son for N500,000


THE Abia State Police Command has arrested a 25-year-old man, Chisom Ihemebirim from Amuzi Obowo in Imo State, for selling his one and half years old son, Chidubem Chisom for N500,000. The command also arrested one Abraham Ukaiwe, 27, from Asaga Ohafia in AbiaState said to be Ihemebirim’s accomplice in the deal to sell the boy.
Little Chidubem Chisom was said to have been sold to one Mercy Nwachinemere, 45, of Umudi Abayi in Osisioma, Abia State who has also been arrested. According to the Police Commissioner, Mohammed Tilli Abubakar, little master Chidubem  Chisom was recovered from the buyer.
Parading the suspects, Abubakar said his men moved into action following a report by one Kasarachi John, 23, from Mbawsi in Isiala Ngwa North Council said to be the estranged wife of Ihemebirim.

15-Year-Old Boy Arrested For Stabbing His 4-Year-Old &10-Year-Old Brothers To Death


A teenager was arrested after his two younger brothers, ages 4 and 10, were found stabbed to death at the family’s home in West Point, Utah, police said. Davis County Sheriff Todd Richardson said the 15-year-old suspect appeared to work alone and is being held at the Farmington Bay Youth Detention Center.
“The manner of death appears to be consistent with penetrating knife wounds, however, the official cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office,” Richardson said in a media release.
The boys’ mother called the Davis County Sheriff’s Office at 7:36 p.m. after she returned home and found her 4-year-old son was dead. She reported that her 10- and 15-year-olds were missing. Continues after cut:
