Man Makes Fiance's Wedding Dresses Out of 600 Balloons

A bride-to-be has received a big surprise after her fiancé made two wedding dresses for her out of 600 balloons.

25-year-old Lu Kepeng, who is a wedding party entertainer, created the two unique bridal gowns for his fiancee Su Xuenuo as a gift, the People's Daily Online reports. 

The pair posed for their pre-wedding photos in Qingdao, eastern China, on April 4.

According to Chinese media, Lu works in the wedding industry. 

He entertains guests with his balloon skills and magic during weddings. 

Lu decided to make his fiancee two wedding dresses for their pre-wedding shoot by attaching balloons together. 

17 Year Old Bride Murdered On Wedding Night For Not Being A Virgin

A bride was strangled to the death by her husband on the night of their wedding in a suspected case of ‘honour killing’, Jacobabad police said on Saturday.

During the day, a picture of the deceased bride made rounds on social media and suggested that the young girl was killed by her husband for “not being a virgin”.
Khanzadi, daughter of Lal Mohammad Lashari, married her cousin Qalandar Bux Khokhar the night before her lifeless body was found in her bedroom. The suspect, her husband, remains on the run. 

Khanzadi’s mother notified the police when she failed to receive any response from their house the morning after the wedding.

A concert pianist was strangled and beaten to death by her husband after he became jealous of her musical success, a court heard today.

Double bass player John Martin is accused of murdering Natalia Strelchenko on the couple's second wedding anniversary following a string of furious arguments.

Rob Hall, prosecuting, said:

 'This is quite simply a case of anger. Pure and simple anger. This defendant was not getting what he wanted and reached a point where he lost his temper in a very dramatic fashion.'

6 Friends of Groom Die From Drug Overdose at Wedding

Tijani Usman (26) may have been regretting while he decided to get married as his wedding ceremony at Niabawa Quarters, Kano, Northwest Nigeria turned sorrowful when six of his friends in the spirit of jubilation drugged themselves to death.

Tijani who wedded Hafsat Ibrahim aged 18 is now a sad man in Police custody as he is being questioned over the death of his friends who took to taking dangerous drugs while others were eating and drinking during the reception.

According a source who spoke to P.M.NEWS Correspondent on phone, the dead were aged between 19 and 25, “it was, indeed, a tragic incident. While other people were enjoying themselves with food and soft drinks during the reception; little did we know that the six young men who were close friends to Tijani locked themselves in a room and were busy sniffing themselves to death.

The six young men popped in wild jubilation over their friends wedding as they took over-dose of illicit drugs in the spirit of celebration and eventually died in the process.

On the 15th of January 2014,  I got married to my lover and Best Friend. It was such an intimate event, I haven't stopped apologising to family and friends who feel slighted that they could not attend.  I really did not wish to keep it a secret, If anything we would have loved to have all our loved ones there with us but this was our registry and  so much had happened between Maje and I in the last 3 months. Plus, it was such a huge surprise, I had no clue. I hate surprises but I must say, this one knocked me out of my elements because i usually suspect something is happening. Hehehehe!  I am not fully over it yet.

Fairly Tale Shrek Wedding: Going Green For Cancer Charity

A couple painted themselves green and dressed as movie characters Shrek and Princess Fiona to get hitched in a fairytale wedding. Amanda and Nathan Gibbs used their big day to raise money for charity.

The pair had planned a small ceremony but after losing several friends to cancer, they decided on the Hollywood theme to increase awareness of the disease.

Instead of wedding gifts, the couple - who have been together for eight years - asked people to donate money to Cancer Research.

Bride Escapes Death After Wedding

A bride narrowly escaped death in an auto crash while on her way from her wedding. The accident involving a NNPC tanker with number plate XG 321 MKA, a cargo truck and two saloon cars happened at about 4: 45pm on Saturday, close to the Otedola bridge, Alausa, on Lagos/Ibadan Expressway.

Our reporter who witnessed the accident said the NNPC truck, while descending the slop from Alausa at top speed, could not hold its break. It then ran into the first car and squashed the second one against the cargo truck.

Sokoto State Plans Mass Wedding for 250 Widows, Widowers

The Sokoto State Government said on Sunday that it would give out in a mass wedding, 250 widows and widowers across the state to give them a new lease of life.

Alhaji Zubairu Goronyo, the state Commissioner for Social Development, who announced this at the screening of the beneficiaries in Sokoto, said that the venture would gulp N30 million. According to him, a date will soon be fixed for the exercise.

A correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, who witnessed the screening that was done to establish the health status of the beneficiaries, reported that various committees handled it.
