Toke Makinwa Files Divorce Petition Against Maje Ayida (See The Documents Within)

Toke Makinwa is seeking to divorce Maje Ayida, following the infidelity saga. She has filed a petition through her lawyers and the matter will commence soon before Justice Pedro of the Lagos State High Court.

Finally, Toke Ayida has opened up about her court wedding. And like the initial speculation that it was a surprise, she confirmed it in a post on her blog. Toke wrote:

On the 15th of January 2014,  I got married to my lover and Best Friend. It was such an intimate event, I haven't stopped apologising to family and friends who feel slighted that they could not attend.  I really did not wish to keep it a secret, If anything we would have loved to have all our loved ones there with us but this was our registry and  so much had happened between Maje and I in the last 3 months. Plus, it was such a huge surprise, I had no clue. I hate surprises but I must say, this one knocked me out of my elements because i usually suspect something is happening. Hehehehe!  I am not fully over it yet.

“Everybody is beefing you Toke. Why? You see, before Toke came on the scene, I was the most beefed celebrity for attending so many events, but now, whenever I go to event these days, I pray to God that Toke attends too, so I won’t be insulted alone…since she came around, the hate on me has lessened because finally there is someone who attends more events than me.” Uti jokingly said.
