Achievas music and Solidstar sells album distribution right to Obaino music for 22 million naira, it involves only street distribution, Digital distribution will be handled by Universal Music Africa (TheKleek.com), itunes.com, iroking, spinlet.com and Ysghub.com. Album is set to drop in the street by September 26th and digital album will drop officially on October 1st!    

Obaino Music who bought the rights to distribute the “Grace & Glory” album spoke through one of their representatives present at the signing of the deal that they were more than happy and privileged to distribute the album after listening to it, we just had to put money on it – their spokes person.

Vector on Monday grabbed the hands of top music producer Babatunde Okungbowa, better known as OJB Jezreel, and prayed in a manner that can be described as “heartfelt” during a visit by representatives from the Nigerian music industry. Rapper Vector believes that more than needing N16 Million for a kidney transplant, the ailing music producer, whom people say now look pale and fragile, also needs prayers. A Committee for the ‘SaveOJBJezreel’ cause has been put in place, headed by Nomoreloss, who organised Monday’s visit. Some of the entertainers present to show support to the cause included DJ Jimmy JATT, Vector, Jaywon, Yemi Alade, Kage, Mr Cool and Kupa Victory.

OJB became a household name in 2005 when African Queen, produced by him and performed by 2face Idibia, became a worldwide hit.

Vector At War With Label, YSG. Arrested Twice

One of Nigeria's foremost rappers Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, popularly known as Vector Tha Viper is currently at war with his label, YSG Ent - recently discovered to be a division Young Shall Grow Motors company, led by Obiora Obianodo, (Pictured right) the first son of  Chief Vincent Obianodo, the MD of Young Shall Grow Motors Ltd.

The disagreement between Vector and his label started a few months back after the rapper complained about his progress-rate and the label's nonchalant attitude towards his career and simply suggested more professional hands be employed to help his career, which the label took as a threat, and when they refused to heed to his suggestions, Vector hired hands he was paying personally.

According to sources close to Vector, he has been receiving series of personal threats from the label, and he hasn't felt so safe and really did not want to talk to the press about it.

Just yesterday, his twitter account(@vectorYSG) with over 100,000 followers suddenly disappeared, and has been confirmed to be deactivated by his label.

Vectors manager says a new twitter handle @VECTORTHAVIPER has been activated and is now his artistes official handle, alongside the launch of his official Website www.vectorthaviper.com. As at the time of compiling this report, efforts to reach his record label has been abortive.
