The Ikwere-Rivers State born multi-talented artiste, who is known for his rib-cracking jokes and witty acts, was spotted in the midst of two handicapped beggers this morning. Apparently, Julius wants to bring them to his show to also have fun like other privileged Nigerians.

Some of the stars listed to perform that day are ace songstress, Lady Onyeka Onwenu, Timi Dakolo, Banky W, Waje, Efya, Bez, Mimicko, and popular juju act, Yinka Ayefele and other.

Alibaba Gives Reasons Stars Shouldn't Give Money To Area Boys

Outspoken Nigerian comedian, Alibaba, shared a touching picture a while ago to give people, especially his celebrity colleagues more reasons not to always doll out money to touts.

The rib-cracker encouraged all those healthy Nigerians who think begging is the only means of survival to emulate the guy in the photo he shared.

"One more reason you shouldn't give every healthy Nigerian that begs you money outside event venues money. Because this guy has every reason to beg but isn't. He instead is polishing shoes and earning a living and providing for his family. Even if he is not providing everything the family needs. 

Julius Agwu Makes A Confession

The news of Nollywood icon Amaka Igwe’s death has stirred many to rise eyebrows and think about she impacted into their lives especially in the entertainment industy. she passed away on April 28, 2014 after suffering an asthma attack while on a pre-production visit to Enugu.

One of her many mourners is comedian/actor Julius Agwu. The comedian revealed that it was the late Mrs Igwe who gave him his first acting job. Agwu played a character in the 1995 Drama film ‘Rattle Snake’.

As the former Senior Special Assistant to the  administration in Imo State on Entertainment Matters, will you love to serve if given an opportunity under the incumbent government?

The answer to this is dependent on my predisposition, and I don’t put such response in the public domain. But honestly speaking, I do embrace every opportunity to serve the people, but when the philosophy, ideology and beliefs of any administration  are  not in consonance with mine, I find it difficult to function. As for this administration in my state, I want to state it categorically that I will not want to serve in any capacity because we do not have the same philosophy and ideology.

Comedian Ali Baba Blasts Celebrities Over New Anti-Gay Law In Nigeria

The recently signed anti-gay bill by President Goodluck Jonathan has led to tongue wagging in both local and foreign scenes and many of the Nigerian celebrities have expressed their thoughts on the various social media platforms. The bill, which contains penalties of up to 14 years in prison, bans every gay marriage, same-sex “amorous relationships” and membership of gay rights groups.

Comedian Julius Agwu and his wife, Ibiere, welcomed a baby boy yesterday, October 7th. Ibiere gave birth to the little bundle of joy in a hospital in the US. The new addition to the family has been named Zadok Chibuike Julius Agwu. Julius and Ibiere already have a 4 year old daughter, Zahra Agwu.

Nigerian Comedian Julius Agwu Takes Comedy To Church

Multiple awards winning comedian, Julius Agwu, stages his annual comedy show, Laff 4 Christ Sake, today, Sunday July 28th, 2013.

For the first time, the event will be holding in the church. The annual event, which attracts celebs and fans of the music comedian, holds at The Dome of This Present House, Lekki in Lagos. The church is led by Tony Rapu and incidentally, Julius Agwu is one of its members.

An array of comedians slated to perform at the show are Senator, Funnybone, Akpororo, Owen Gee, Mc Abbey, Acapella, Mc Longs and Mc Jay. Musicians on the bill are Tim Godfrey and the Extreme Crew, Frank Edwards and Tosin Martins.

According to the comedian, his pastor urged him to hold the event at the church, which is his place of worship. His pastor, Tony Rapu, was part of the event last year and this spurred him to host the comedy show at The Dome.

“It’s open to everyone to come and experience God in an atmosphere of laughter,” Julius says.   The London edition of Crack Ya Ribs show is set to hold in a couple of weeks.

Magician and stand up comedian Andy Gross took his split-man prank out for a stroll recently, scaring the bejeezus out of innocent passersby. In a hilarious video, the joker appears to be cut clean in half and carrying his legs. 

One of the women is so terrified when the man approached them in two separate pieces, she sprints at full pelt to a sandpit and falls over face first.

The other woman bolts to her parked car screaming, and then speeds away.

In the creepy footage, the legless torso then walks down the pavement and frightens another couple of women out for a stroll.

Gross doesn't give away the secret behind the illusion, leaving you guessing.

In fact, he ramped up the scare-factor by growling at the unsuspecting strangers as he walks around holding his sawed off legs.

Gbenga Adeyinka D 1st: My BIG Belly Scares Women Away from ME!

Gbenga Adeyinka tells anyone who cares to listen that ladies don’t find him attractive, the comedian says his potbelly and old age are reasons ladies don’t ‘chase’ him.

He says, “Some of us who are pot-bellied and ‘old’ don’t have the pleasure of being chased by women anymore. We have left it for the younger ones. Women don’t chase me anymore; they know this big belly wouldn’t let me run.”

Although women don’t take Him seriously, the dark skinned performer says that his wife takes him serious.
