Ubi Franklin Speaks On Iyanya’s Suppose Exist From TripleMG

Here’s what you need to know about Iyanya exist from TripleMG… And he has Ubi Franklin‘s blessings to move ahead with his record label.

Ubi Franklin took to his IG page to clarify the whole situation. He posted the photo above and wrote:

Recently there’s been a lot said in the media about Iyanya leaving Made Men Music, I’d like to clarify things.

Iyanya had approached me about a year ago and notified me of his intentions to start up a label. He wanted my blessings to do so and I told him it was a welcome development........

Iyanya denies rumours that report the reason he left his former label with friend Ubi Franklin, to start his own was because of Ubi's marriage to Lilian Esoro. He wrote:

Ubi Franklin, boss of Made Men Music (MMMG), he recently married versatile Nollywood actress, Lilian Esoro amidst controversies that struck the relationship.

The couple have always gushed over each other and entertaining their fans on how much they do care and love each other.

The MMMG boss recently uploaded a photo of himself and his adorable wife as he showers her with praises and appreciation.

‘‘ thanks for everything now and forever, listen and respect your wife’s instincts, I know am just fresh in this, but I am learning daily’’ he wrote.

Yvonne Nelson, Linda Ikeji Twitter War Over Iyanya Story

Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson and celebrity blogger ,Linda Ikeji are at war over a report on Linda’s blog. Linda Ikeji reported that ex-lovers, Yvonne Nelson and Singer Iyanya will be starring in a movie titled, ‘The Ransom. The report however, did not go own well with Yvonne Nelson as she faulted Linda’s report openly on the social media.

Yvonne immediately tweeted at Linda, saying “Please, be accurate with stories involving my name. Thank you.” The actress wrote. “I haven’t approached Iyanya or his team for any of my projects and don’t intend to do so. Emma Nyra Dispels Rumors That She Has Left MMMG Records!

There had been rumors over the past couple of days that Emma Nyra has left her label, MMMG (owneby by Iyanya and Ubi Franklin) after a disagreement with the pair. The report had stated that she had left the label a few weeks ago and is now being sponsored by a family member.

Emma Nyra has come out to kind of dispel the rumors and has stated she stands with MMMG – whatever that means. It’s almost like she denies it but doesn’t. Mixed messages? Who knows? Whatever the case it, we hope her move is for the best.

BON/IBAN Bans Several Artists Including 2face, D'banj, Iyanya, Because of COSON

For quite some time now, the Copyrights Society of Nigeria (COSON), has been harassing the Broadcasting Society of Nigeria (BON) and the Independent Broadcasting Society of Nigeria, IBAN, insisting that they pay royalties for playing the songs of Nigerian artists. COSON has dragged several radio and TV stations to court, demanding millions, sometimes billions of Naira in royalty.

Well, it seems IBAN and BON have had enough. Two days ago, they announced the ban of all Nigerian artists registered with COSON. Meaning that they ordered the immediate stop to the airing of songs of artists who are COSON members.

The artists include 2face Idibia, D'banj, Onyeka Onwenu, Iyanya, Banky W, Flavour, Ice Prince, Dr Sid, Olamide, 9ice, M.I, eLDee, Ruggedman, Wizkid, Asa, Waje, Omawumi and several others.

After receiving a lovely cake from Triple MG crew and having fun performing for inmates at the Ikoyi prisons , Iyanya got a $25, 000 Rolex watch birthday present from his manager and partner, Ubi Franklin while he got one of the world's most expensive perfumes from his current girlfriend as well. Then later in the night he got a Champagne Shower during his bday bash last night.

Iyanya Hacked on Twitter & Facebook

Press statement from Iyanya's Made Men Music Group below..

Nigerian entertainer, Iyanya Mbuk along with his manager Ubi Franklin have been the victims of hacking.

Regrettably, the individual(s) involved have posted false endorsements on Iyanya’s Facebook page and Twitter with the aim of deceiving fans and followers for personal gain, and have maliciously changed Ubi Franklin’s Twitter handle.

We’re currently working with Twitter and Facebook to regain access to the accounts and in the meantime fans can continue to interact with Iyanya via his official Instagram account (@Iyanya).

Iyanya apologises for any inconvenience caused and urges fans to ignore any requests that the hackers might make.
