D'banj Presents Bono with Over 2million Do Agric Petition Signatures

In January 2014 during the African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, D'banj helped launch the Do Agric Petition. A petition that calls on leaders for more and better investment in Agriculture. D'banj was the first to publicly sign the petition.

In April, he led 19 of Africa's top artists to record the hit song "Cocoa Na Chocolate" to promote the petition and help rebrand Agriculture among Africa's youth.

The campaign has been a great success as over 2 million Africans from every African country has signed the petition.

D'banj recently met with ONE co-founder Bono and presented him the petition in recognition of the way he has inspired Africans themselves to lead the fight for change in Africa.

"I Will Also Be Producing Koko Bread Soon" - D'banj

Popular Nigerian singer, D’banj, has joined in the campaign for improvement in the agricultural sector, saying it would boost youth empowerment and alleviate poverty in the country.

He spoke in Abuja during a campaign entitled: “Do Africa, It Pays” which was in line with the African Union Declaration of 2014 as the year of agriculture and food security. Leaders are expected to review their agricultural investment commitments at the next AU Summit scheduled for June.

The campaign called “ONE Africa” is aimed at changing public perception about agriculture so that the entire value chain would be recognised as an attractive and viable opportunity for agro-business, job creation for Africa’s young people and improved livelihood for small farmers.

Kenya Moore Calls Twitter Hater “Ugly” For Asking The Whereabouts Of Her “Wealthy African Prince”

Kenya Moore Claps Back At Twitter Hater - Via UB Magazine reports: Kenya Moore has already told people not to come for her unless she sends for you. So we’re assuming that also applies to her Twitter critics.

Kenya has been labeled as the most classy housewife according to her fans, but all of that appears to go out the window when someone who is not a fan finds a way to her mentions.

In fact, judging by her timeline, one of her favorite “clap backs” for people who aren’t praising her or those that seem to be Team NeNe is to call them ugly.

'D'Banj & Genevieve Nnaji Are Not Dating! It Was All A Publicity Stunt' - Insider

According to Encomium Weekly, inside sources have confirmed to them that there is no intimate relationship between Nigeria's top entertainer D'Banj and A-list Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji. That what happened on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at the Nigerian Breweries Plc’s sponsored event tagged, Club Ultimate, shouldn’t be used as evidence that the celebrities have rekindled their love cos it’s all a publicity stunt.

ENCOMIUM Weekly says they were at the event when D’Banj, garbed in a white shirt, straight cut black jeans and a black waist coat, drove in in a black Bentley (one of the two Bentleys he bought while in the defunct Mo’Hits), followed by a G-Wagon, which was driven by the gifted thespian, Genevieve.

Obviously, the expression on D’Banj’s face showed that he wanted the actress, and they displayed public affection for each other.

BON/IBAN Bans Several Artists Including 2face, D'banj, Iyanya, Because of COSON

Well, it seems IBAN and BON have had enough. Two days ago, they announced the ban of all Nigerian artists registered with COSON. Meaning that they ordered the immediate stop to the airing of songs of artists who are COSON members.

The artists include 2face Idibia, D'banj, Onyeka Onwenu, Iyanya, Banky W, Flavour, Ice Prince, Dr Sid, Olamide, 9ice, M.I, eLDee, Ruggedman, Wizkid, Asa, Waje, Omawumi and several others.
