Basketmouth Opens Up On Tiwa Savage & Teebillz Airing Their Marital Problems on Social Media

Comedian, Basketmouth, has opened up on celebrities washing their dirty linen on social media,citing the example of Tiwa Savage and TeeBillz ..Speaking on Hip TV chat show, ‘The Gist with Ugolee’, on Saturday, August 13, He said:

“To a large extent, I think there are a lot of people abusing the use of social media, I am sorry. Most of us artistes realizing that we have I, 2, 3 or 4 million people following us and you know that when you say something, a lot of people are going to react.” “It is like drug; you can’t contain yourself and start saying some crap. You are like a god having a lot of followers, whatever you tell them to do, they do.”

“I am okay with people who go on social media to rant but I am against those who have turned it into a church to settle family issues. Normally, if you have a marital problem, you call your wife one on one. If you cannot contain it, you call in the parents.

Mavin first lady, Tiwa Savage‘s recent V.I.P feature on E! entertainment had her revisit her journey to stardom in the Nigerian music industry.

With the journey being impossible to be fully discussed without mentioning the input of her estranged husband Tee Billz, the singer gave more revelation on her relationship and marriage with her former manager.

Tiwa, whose marriage recently fell apart due to irreconcilable differences, reminisced on when she first met Billz – whom she says she will always appreciate for his contribution to her career.

‘When I first met him, I felt he was very arrogant. He was very tall, dark, handsome and very confident,’ she said in the mini documentary.

Tee Billz Deletes His Social Media Account

Tee Billz has deleted his Instagram account. Since he gave that unholy ranting that got Tiwa Savage running to the press to expose their shaking marriage, we have not seen Tee.

There have been a lot of talks around him but none of this talks has really given us a clue to the mental condition of Tee. It looks as if his chapter has been closed while another one has been opened for Tiwa, who has started living her life to the fullest.

It is still unclear who deleted this social media account. The details of the estrange couple relationship is not known.

We Never Arrested Or Invited Tee Billz – NDLEA

Contrary to reports making the rounds that the former manager and husband of Tiwa Savage, Tee Billz was invited and arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, the agency has squashed the reports, saying there’s no substance in it.

The spokesperson for the agency, Michelle Ofoyeju, told Potpourri that it is not the business of the agency to arrest drug users.

Tee Billz Allegedly Going To Rehab

Tunji ‘Teebillz’ Balogun, husband of singer Tiwa Savage has maintained silence since his social media rant last week and his wife’s subsequent interview.

His Instagram rant where he accused his wife of sleeping around and mother-in-law for bewitching him was the last time he commented on social media.

However, according to The NETNG, close friends of his are working to help him recuperate and rehabilitate following his social media rant, suicide attempt and Tiwa’s subsequent interview where she claimed he’s a cocaine user, a cheater, who steals from her and in serious debt of N45 million.

A lot of people have had something had their say since Tiwa Savage's tell all interview hit the internet. 

OAP Freeze who had earlier on sympathized with the couple after Tee Billz's outburst on Instagram, saying her interview would make her husband more suicidal because of the things she accused him of being an addict, debtor, fraudulent and a cheat.......

I have nothing but love for you, but after I watched all 45 mins or so of your interview, I am a bit disappointed.  

Tiwa, I know it hurts when a relationship breaks down, and those accusations T Billz made were extremely hurtful, nonetheless, I believe you could have employed caution when responding, since according to you, he was unstable and suicidal.

The husband and manager to famous singer, Tiwa Savage, Tunji Balogun has rubbished reports that the singer was arrested by the police at the weekend for allegedly assaulting a police officer in Lagos. Since last week Saturday, there have been several reports that Tiwa was arrested on Friday night in Lagos for allegedly assaulting a police officer around Eko Hotel and Suites. 

The singer was said to have taken off the cap of the police officer, who reportedly stopped her for allegedly breaking a traffic law. She was reportedly whisked away to a police station in Victoria Island but was later released by the police. Reacting to the development, Balogun, well known as Tee Billz, when contacted on the issue, said that the rumour is false and has no iota of truth in it.

Tiwa And Tee Billz Bans Cameras For Wedding Today

Today They say Will be “Ghen Ghen”, as the anticipation differs this time around, as the Nigerian pop singer, Tiwa Savage and her fiancé and manager, Tunji ‘Tee Billz’ Balogun, will be tying the knot today, Saturday, November 23, 2013 in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.

The wedding ceremony which is strictly by invitation, has been declared a ‘no photo or video’ event by the couple who have upgraded security and placed a ban on guests taking photos or videos during wedding.
