Men-O-Pause by Charly Boy

If you are above 40yrs old, then you have every business reading this. If not however, you still need to go ahead and read because your own time dey come.

I mostly talk about the experiences I have been through, to talk to me and some times to heal me or some of the people I counsel. I share things I have learnt, so others can pick any positives that may help them in their journey through life.

Na so.

The stage I am at now and what am going through, is what I have discussed with so many men including my father-in-law in the past 30yrs. I never thought or even imagined I would one day be wearing the same shoes myself.

Mr. President Sir, Once again I am compelled to voice out my bewilderment at the stumbling and wobbly kind of governance we have had since you came onboard. I wonder what you are doing right now. I wonder if our tears, pains and hopelessness affect you in anyway. I wonder if you are the one in charge or some other people.

You have tasted leadership before and you know what it entails. I understand that. However, then and now are two different scenarios, two separate dispensations.

We know you.

'To Add Ignorance To Stupidity, You Quote Scriptures to Rationalise Your Uninformed Position' - Charly Boy

Charly Boy took to his Facebook page to slam religious Nigerians who were unsympathetic about the massacre of innocent people in a gay night club in Orlando, Florida.

According to Charly Boy, Nigerians were quick to quote the scripture when that attack happened but failed to do so when Christians lost their lives in terrorist attacks in the North. He wrote;

"Na WA for some Naijas, can you believe that after about 50 people were murdered in cold blood at a gay club in Orlando, most Nigerian Christians
who know the mind of God linked the incident to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Can you imagine?

They quickly used Leviticus 20:13 to prove their points. Many even said if God doesnt destroy America, he owes sodom and Gomorrah an apology. Humm
They wished more of it would happen, they even said that it was God's judgement upon gays. Useless fake people.

I Don’t Even Know What Illuminati is- Charly Boy Denounces Group

Charly Boy is a man who is literally married to controversy. Well, age is catching fast on the entertainer and he is trying to put a lot of misunderstood things about him right. Remember, there was a time it was alleged he loved sleeping inside caskets and also he was accused of heading the Illuminati group in Nigeria. He has finally addressed all these allegations.

He denied sleeping in caskets “It is very comfortable and that’s the final resting place for all of us. I don’t know why we are scared about it. Actually, the truth is I was doing a casket commercial for my friend, Tunji, the owner of MIC. So that was how that picture came up but I sleep on my bed. I don’t sleep in caskets.” He said

To make people understand him better and why he has been tagged a controversial man, he said “I think a lot, that is my job. I am a journalist.

Charlyboy Fathered 7 Children With Other Women - Wife, Lady D

Wife of eccentric media personality, Charly Boy has made quite a shocking revelation as she said her husband of 38 years fathered seven children from ‘away matches’.

Reminiscing on their roller-coaster marital journey in an interview with Babalola Oshogbiye, Lady D said she had to battle the Area Fada‘s excesses in regards to the opposite sex.

‘In the beginning it was the women, my gosh! Women everywhere. Charles is a charmer,’ she said.

She continued, ‘he had seven kids from his away matches and the women he married that didn’t work out, before we got married. But as the years rolled by I found ways of calming him down, and curing my high blood pressure. I later found out that the women were more for his hypes, like the Charly’s Virgins.

From my marriage counselling experience, I have come to the conclusion that most men of today are the weaker sex, at least emotionally.

How many of us can control our emotions that we resort to using our wives as punching bags, abusing alcohol, or other methods of lashing out because we are not emotionally strong enough to hold our cool.

A lot of us can't keep up with both working a full time job and managing a household, raising children to the extent that women do everyday. I know some of you would say, that's not a man's department.

Charly Boy Says His Wife Lady D Intimidated Him into Marrying Her....

Maverick musician and social crusader, Charles Oputa a.k.a Charly Boy, and his south American born wife, Diane, popularly known as Lady D, have remained an item after 35 years of marriage. And during a recent interview with Vanguard, Charlyboy revealed his wife had actually proposed to him, intimidated him into marrying her. Excerpt:

How I met my wife:

I met my wife in 1974/1975 in a hair saloon in Boston, USA. I went to do my hair there when I saw this beautiful lady with an overflowing hair. I admired her beauty and decided I was going to invite her to a party that never happened. She accepted my invitation and the party was just me and her in my limousine and I asked my driver to drive us round town. While we were cruising, we talked and that was how we started.
