6 Friends of Groom Die From Drug Overdose at Wedding

Tijani Usman (26) may have been regretting while he decided to get married as his wedding ceremony at Niabawa Quarters, Kano, Northwest Nigeria turned sorrowful when six of his friends in the spirit of jubilation drugged themselves to death.

Tijani who wedded Hafsat Ibrahim aged 18 is now a sad man in Police custody as he is being questioned over the death of his friends who took to taking dangerous drugs while others were eating and drinking during the reception.

According a source who spoke to P.M.NEWS Correspondent on phone, the dead were aged between 19 and 25, “it was, indeed, a tragic incident. While other people were enjoying themselves with food and soft drinks during the reception; little did we know that the six young men who were close friends to Tijani locked themselves in a room and were busy sniffing themselves to death.

The six young men popped in wild jubilation over their friends wedding as they took over-dose of illicit drugs in the spirit of celebration and eventually died in the process.

Philip Seymour Hoffman Dead 'After Overdose'

Oscar winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman is dead. He was found dead at his New York home today Sunday February 2nd of an apparent drug overdose. He was just 46 years old.

Law enforcement officials said the acting veteran was discovered fully clothed in the bathroom on the 4th floor of his Manhattan apartment with a needle sticking out of his arm. He was discovered by his friend and screenwriter David Katz, who went to check on him when he failed to pick his children up.

Its being reported that five bags of used heroin were found around the late actor's body by police and a further two unused nearby.

Hoffman won a best actor Oscar for his role in the 2005 film Capote. He is survived by a partner of 14 years and three children. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.
