Simi was a kind of a tomboy while growing up because she had three elder brothers and last born. She said “ So I used to like sneakers, baggy jeans etc. My dad spoilt my brothers and I, but it was fun. When I was nine years, my parents separated and so that was really a tough time for us, because we had to grow up faster. We came through it and we are okay.”

Multi-talented Nigerian singer/comedian, Olumuyiwa Osinuga popularly known as Nomoreloss has died.

Unconfirmed sources say that the ‘Iyawo Asiko’ crooner who is in his early 40s died this morning, March 21, at an undisclosed hospital in Opebi, Ikeja Lagos.

The talented performer is said to have been sick since January, hence, his absence from the Nigerian entertainment scene.

Aleksandr, 23 years old and pictured above, murdered 22-year-old Viktoria, pictured below, in Russia in July last year. He stabbed and slashed her more than 53 times, according to the report on the Voronezh Region police site.
Police said that Aleksandr, a former bassist in the band Easy Riders, then ‘committed acts of a sexual nature’ with her head.

Aleksandr was thrown out of Easy Riders when his bandmates discovered his cross-dressing fetish.

90's Boy Band (Hi-Five) Singer Arrested for Fatally Stabbing Wife

A member of a chart-topping 1990s boy band was arrested Wednesday after bursting into a Texas police station and telling police his wife was dead and he needed a lawyer.

Russell Neal, 40, had two smash hits including I Like the Way (The Kissing Game), which went to number 1 in 1991, when he was a singer with R&B group Hi-Five.
Now the platinum selling artist faces a murder charge after authorities found 24-year-old Catherine Martinez dead from apparent stab wounds and blunt force trauma in their Houston apartment.

According to KHOU, Neal told police he'd gotten into an argument with Martinez before he asked for an attorney and then clammed up.

IRS (Uncle Sam) Hits Embattled Singer Lauryn Hill With Bill For Another $867K!!!

According to RadarOnline reports: Nearly six months after Lauryn Hill finished serving prison time for tax evasion, the IRS is on her case again. 
RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the former Fugees singer was recently slapped with yet another batch of liens from the IRS — to the tune of nearly $867,000!

According to tax documents filed on January 14 and obtained by Radar, the IRS has served Hill with seven separate liens for a grand total of $866,868.05.
The IRS claims that in 2005, Hill failed to pay $422,008.26. For 2006, she owes $19,838.75; 2007, $61,158.50; 2008, $58,405.71; 2009, $30370.91; 2010, $13,247.73; and 2011, $261,838.19.

Hill’s tax struggles have put her in the headlines more often than her career in recent years.

Last Of Sound Of Music Von Trapp Family Dies

The last surviving member of the Trapp Family Singers, whose escape from Nazi-occupied Austria was portrayed in the musical The Sound Of Music, has died aged 99. Maria von Trapp passed away at her home in Vermont in the US, according to her half-brother Johannes von Trapp.

"She was a lovely woman who was one of the few truly good people," said Mr von Trapp, who was born to Ms von Trapp's father and step-mother.

"There wasn't a mean or miserable bone in her body. I think everyone who knew her would agree with that."

Ms von Trapp was one of the original Trapp Family Singers, whose story became a Broadway musical in 1959 and a blockbuster film starring Dame Julie Andrews in 1965.

A woman assaulted soul singer Lester Chambers for dedicating a song to Trayvon Martin. The woman identified as 43-year-old Dinalynn Andrews Potter jumped the stage, reportedly yelling “it’s all your fault,” right before she hit the 73-year-old singer.
