Francis Taiwo, a Celestial Church of Christ pastor who starved and kept his nine-year-old son in chains for months, has been arrested.

The 40-year-old pastor was apprehended by the police from the Onipanu division on Sunday at his church – CCC, Key of Joy Parish – in Ajibawo, Atan, in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State.

Korede was, however, rescued on Friday during a joint operation by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and the police, after receiving a tip-off from residents of the area.

Korede’s stepmother, Kehinde, had also been arrested for allegedly aiding the cruelty meted out to the boy.

Korede, who said he aspired to be a doctor, had blamed his father for his stealing habit.

Youth Pastor Impregnantes 10 Year Old Girl

A youth pastor, Raymond Vincent, 46 has been arrested for impregnating a 10 year old girl and fleeing to Haiti. Detectives were called to Broward Health Medical Center on Feb. 13 in reference to a sexual battery of a child. 

The girl was found to be pregnant after having been taken to the hospital with stomach pain, the inquisitr.com reports.

A police report detailed one of Vincent's encounters with the girl sometime in December or January. The girl told police she was asleep on a couch and was awakened when she felt a hand going down her pants. 

As she opened her eyes, she saw Vincent hovering over her. He quickly pulled his hand from beneath the blanket, the report said.

Pastor Defiles 24 Boys Aged 12 to 16 Years in Ebonyi, Nigeria

Police have arrested a cleric, Paul Morah, for allegedly defiling over 24 male children between 12 and 16 years at Enyibichiri community in Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

Morah, who hails from Orji River in Enugu State but came to Ebonyi for pastoral mission, claimed to be a reverend with Anglican Church.

It was alleged that he used a diabolical handkerchief to lure some of the children, especially those who tried to resist him. The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP George Okafor, yesterday confirmed the report, but said he would brief journalists when investigation was concluded. He said:

“We are aware of the matter. It has just been transferred from Ikwo Police Division to this place (headquarters). We are still investigating the matter. But latest tomorrow, we will get back to press.” 

Pastor Snatches Wife Of Church Member In Osun, Nigeria

A Customary Court in Ile-Ife, Osun State on Monday dissolved a marriage of 10 years between a log seller, Olusola Onifade and his wife, Simbiatu when the man declared that their pastor, Femi Olayinka had snatched the woman from him.

Olusola urged the court to dissolve the marriage because Pastor Femi Olayinka has taken the woman from him and that he was just a figurehead husband while the pastor was in charge of the woman.

He also told the court that the Pastor had threatened to kill him if he refused to leave the woman for him.

Pastor On The Run After He Stabs Wife To Death in Edo, Nigeria

A Pastor identified as Henry Ojochunu Ekukpe is wanted for  allegedly stabbed his 29 year old wife to death in the presence of their six year-old baby, leaving a note containing ten questions he expected his late wife to answer.

 It was learnt that Henry who got married to Patience in 2014 has been having issues that forced the deceased out of his house months ago. The run away Pastor is said to Pastor in one of the branches of Mountain of Victory and Fire Deliverance Ministry in Benin City.

A 37-year old fake spiritualist, Udochi Obimba has been arrested for allegedly defrauding a teacher, Peace Igboanusi, to the tune of N1.6m under false pretence of offering her spiritual deliverance in Lagos State.

The incident happened at Ikotun, a suburb of Lagos where Obimba met Igboanusi on her way to work.

Obimba who hails from Abia,allegedly approached Igboanusi and offered to assist her spiritually to overcome her financial predicament.

The General Overseer of Agape Baptist Church, Pastor Oprite Amakiri, has been arrested in Rivers State.

The 50-year-old randy pastor confessed to how he deceived a member of his church and raped her 18-year-old sister before he was exposed and dragged to the police.

Amakiri was said to have told about 200 members of his church that he had been battling waste pain for the past two years and stressed that God told him that a girl between the age of 12 and 18 years old would be needed to massage his waist for him to be healed, Punch reports.

Pastors Admits To Posing As Girl Online To Get Naked Photos Of Boys

According to Raw Story: A former Campus Life Director for Youth for Christ from Huntington, Indiana pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges that he sexually exploited a minor.

Nathan Hasty used a fake Facebook page to solicit nekked photographs from children, including ones who belonged to Youth for Christ. An FBI agent tasked to the case told WANE that Hasty established multiple Facebook accounts under false names in order to initiate conversations of a sexual nature with underage boys.

Eventually, he would attempt to coerce the boys into sending him nekked photographs.

In the fake accounts, Hasty pretended to be a lascivious sixteen-year-old girl and struck up conversations with boys, mostly between the ages of 12 and 14. He would eventually ask them to send nekked photographs, and even enticed some of them into webcam sessions in which he watched them masturbate while claiming he didn’t have a camera.

Estranged Wife of Pastor Chris Okafor Accuses Him of Assault

The estranged wife of the pastor of Mountain of Liberation Miracles Ministires, Dr. Chris Okafor, has accused him of beating her up at their home in Magodo, Lagos, Punch reports.

Bessem Okafor, who has been separated from Dr Okafor for two years and lives apart from him, said she had gone to her former marital home a few weeks ago to visit her four kids who were in the custody of their father when trouble started.

Pastor Uses Machete on Wife for Missing Church Programme

An Ogun State Chief Magistrate’s Court sitting in Owode Egba, Obafemi Owode Local Government Area, yesterday, remanded a Pastor, Samuel Daniel in prison for using a machete on his wife.

He was arraigned on a two-count charge of assault and providing false information, which is punishable under Sections 338 and 192 criminal code Vol 1 law of Ogun State, 2006.

The accused, who was a Pastor with an Apostolic Church in Ode Remo area of the state, reportedly went to his wife’s place of work at Itori village in Owode-Egba on December 10, 2013 and used the machete on her for abandoning church programmes.

Father Allegedly Kills Daughter, Attacks Pastor, Others For Converting to Christianity

The Oyo State Police command has arrested a  suspect in connection with the killing of his daughter, Miss Kausara Isiaka for allegedly converting to Christianity.

The suspect was alleged by Reverend Daniel Oladimeji, one of the four persons he attacked with machete that he suspected him to be  the brain behind the attack.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Olabisi Ilobanafor, one Mary Oladimeji, of Calvary Church, Ayekale, Ibadan reported the incident at the station at about 02:00 hours of February 26th 2014.

Though, the police are yet to determine his culpability or otherwise, the suspect allegedly sneaked into the church premises and inflicted machete cuts on the four persons.

Pastor in Trouble For Testing Church Member’s Virginity

Thirty four-year-old Pastor Adekunle Kayode has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly fingering a member of his church (name withheld) to confirm her virginity. The incident was said to have occurred on Sunday within the premises of the Jesus is the Way Evangelistic Ministry, Olorunsogo, Abeokuta.

A father of one, Kayode, was arrested by police detectives attached to the Kemta division after the victim allegedly narrated her ordeal to her father who informed the police. The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the arrest.

He said, “Kayode was arrested at his home on Okediyi Street, Abeokuta. Another suspect, Onatade Oluwasegun, 23, of Sheriff Onatade Street, Obantoko, was also arrested for conspiring with Kayode to use the victim for ritual purposes.

The Edo State Police Command has paraded a 47 year old alleged Deeper Life Pastor, Eze Fidelis, who was arrested for having sexual intercourse with two eleven year-old girls. 32 other suspects were also paraded for various offences. Police Parade Gay Pastor For Allegedly Raping Church Member

After the act, the pastor allegedly threatened to kill his victim if he disclosed the act to the public. Speaking to Vanguard, Pastor Ogbebor simply said: “God will judge, go and talk to others” and kept on mumbling.

As the Edo State Police Command, paraded 26 suspected criminals including a pastor identified as Philips Ogbebor, alleged to have had carnal knowledge of a 20-year-old male member of his church (names withheld).

But his victim narrated his ordeal: “I told him I have never done this since I grew up, but he insisted. It was painful and I told him I will not allow it again. So after the second attempt, I told him I will expose the act. He then administered an oath on me, saying if I ever told any one, I will die. “He carried sand and olive oil and poured them on my head, then he wore black garment, saying I will die if I ever leaked the secret. He killed a black fowl and gave me the liver and gizzard to eat at about 2 a.m., threatening that if I ever said it out, I will die like the fowl.
