A drug-dealing drifter was busted for turnstile jumping in The Bronx — his 203rd arrest across 15 states, authorities said.
Steven Wright, 45, earned his seventh arrest in New York at around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday when cops caught him jumping a turnstile — with an open 24-oz. Keystone Light beer in hand — at the Van Cortlandt Park-242nd Street station in Riverdale, law-enforcement sources said.
Wright’s lengthy rap sheet, which starts with a 1994 DUI bust in Georgia, includes 75 arrests in 11 years in Florida — mostly for disorderly conduct and marijuana possession. In Honolulu, two of Wright’s 31 arrests were for sexual assault in 2009, documents state.
He also was collared 35 times in California and at least 11 times in Nevada — for charges that include grand larceny in 2004 and 2005.
Wright was sent to Rikers Island for five days after pleading guilty to theft of services on Wednesday in Bronx Criminal Court, authorities said.
“He clearly likes to travel, too — but I guess he only travels to see the inside of a jail cell,” a source cracked.
