Queen Onwuka Irene made her first public appearance with a visit
to a man of God following her emergence as Miss Ambassador For Peace 2013 at
very colourful ceremony held in Abuja recently
The Abia state born beauty queen paid the courtesy visit to Rev.
Babajide Olowodola, the Senior Pastor of Four Square Gospel Church Abuja in
company of her management team led by the project Director Amb. Kingsley
Amafibe. It was disclosed that the visit was to seek his blessings and also
present an award to the man of God as the "Clergy Man Of The Year"
The award according to management of Miss Ambassador For Peace
Agency was in recognition of his good works and influence on the society,
particularly the youths towards peaceful co-existence as reflected in his
teachings and personality. Rev. Babajide Olowodola who received the award in
his office, thanked the CEO Amb. Kingsley Amfibe for the recognition and prayed
for the Queen and her team for God's favour and a successful reign.
He however called on the Government to support purpose driven
projects like this as it has great positive impact on youths. According to Rev.
the nation is strengthened when the youths are empowered to take the course of
their destinies.
The graduate of Imo State University who less than 48hours
ascended the ladder of glory following her crowning, expressed confidence in
her ability so crusade for peace, according her "because peace is all
want" . The beauty ambassador called on the government to support her
course to give life to the helpless who are victims of several unfortunate
disasters. She extended the plea to individuals and NGOs to also partner in the
project both financially and otherwise to enable them acquire relieve materials
for the victims in their homes and hospitals.
It will be recalled that the
occasion of her emergence was held on World Peace Day, 21st September 2013 at
the prestigious Sheraton Hotel And Towers!
