My dad was not a part of my life because he wasn’t there for me. So, I almost do not say anything about him because there is no relationship or love between us. My dad is like any other person out there because I didn’t have a chance to develop a relationship with him. We have each other’s phone numbers and he calls me when he feels like talking to me. It always feels like talking to a random person because there are absolutely no feelings whatsoever.

A 54 year old man is currently on the run for attacking his wife with acid, resulting in her death. Agya Kwaku alias ‘schoolboy’ poured acid on his wife, Maame Abena Safoah, 45, at their matrimonial home at Atwima Mim near Nkawie in the Atwima Nwabiagya District of the Ashanti Region,Ghana.

Safoah suffered serious burns on her entire body due to the quantity of acid poured on her. The corrosive liquid also burned her mattress and floor carpet. The couple had quarreled that day over their inability to have children in the 20 year old relationship.

An eyewitness, Akua Asantewa, who lives in the smae building with the couple said that around 11 pm onTuesday night, she heard loud screams coming from Safoah’s room. On getting there, the door was locked.

Actor John Dumelo Recounts His Escape From Armed Robbers in Nigeria

Ghanaian actor John Dumelo took to his Instagram page to recount a robbery encounter in Nigeria on his way back to a hotel. 

According to the actor who is currently shooting a movie somewhere in the country, the armed robbers blocked his car, but they managed to escape by speeding off. He shared a stock photo of a man with his hands raised in praise and wrote:

"Yesterday we were attacked by armed robbers on our way back to the hotel from filming in Nigeria. The robbers wearing black, blocked the car we were in, got down with their guns and walked towards our car.

Ghanaian actor and entrepreneur, John Dumelo who is also known to give advice on relationships shared this good piece of advice on marriage. 

According to the 31-year-old Ghallywood actor, he finds it very worrying, the rate at which marriages are falling apart. And he thinks this has to do with the fact that people rush into marriage.

BBA Housemate Elikem Proposes to Pokello on Stage at the Ghana Music Awards

Last night at the Ghana Music Awards in Accra Ghana, BBA The Chase Housemate Elikem proposed to his former BBA Housemate & girlfriend Pokello as they climbed the stage to announce the winner of one of the categories at the awards night. Pokello, who wasn't expecting the very public proposal, said later that it made her go numb.

Elikem, who is Ghanaian and Pokello who is from Zimbabwe met and started dating during the 8th season of Big Brother Africa...and continued their romance after their eviction.

Video: Three University Girls Caught For Stealing Panties In Shopping Mall

3 young girls, believed to be students of the University of Ghana, were humiliated after staff of Mr Price Clothing Store, Accra Shopping Mall caught them allegedly shoplifting panties.

The three victims, names withheld, were made to crawl on their knees for about 200 metres from the shop to the entrance of the mall, while an excited crowd laughed, jeered, called them names and recorded the entire incident using their phones. According to reports, that was after the security men on duty reportedly asked
the women whether they preferred to crawl or be handed over to the police, to which they chose the former.

The video went viral on social media networks and blogs shortly after the incident. Watch it below.

In a recent video shoot for an up and coming Akon and WizKid video, some Ghanaian models and girl were called upon to participate by the directors a few days ahead of the shoot. Presumably prior to Akon and Wiz Kids arrival in Ghana.

A model reported on the day of the shoot some girls were turned away as the agent (or the man responsible for calling them) informed them that “they now want half cast girls”. A term used to describe girls with mixed heritage, usually ones with white blood in them.

Zimbabwean representative in this year’s Big Brother Africa (The Chase) reality show, Pokello Nare arrived in Ghana Tuesday for a three-week visit.

The sexy Zimbabwean arrived in Ghana with her new found love, Elikem Kumordzi, who also represented Ghana in the reality show, to a rapturous reception from hundreds of fans who had gathered at the Kotoka International Airport. 

The Ghanaian tailor during his stay in Zimbabwe visited Pokello’s parents, attended three parties, made some donations to the Thembiso Children’s Home in Luveve and also met with his fans in Zimbabwe. Video after cut:

Nigerian Law Makers, Highest Paid In The World

The huge and large amount being paid as salary to the country’s legislators, which is ranked the highest in the world, according to a new study, has attracted criticisms from Nigerians across the country, including economists and lawyers. The Economist magazine revealed that Nigerian federal legislators with a basic salary of $189,500 per annum (N30.6m) were the highest paid lawmakers in the world.

Report gave that; the basic salary (which excludes allowances) of a Nigerian lawmaker is 116 times the country’s GDP per person of $1,600. The $189,500 earned annually by each Nigerian legislator is estimated to be 52 per cent higher than what Kenya legislators, who are the second highest paid lawmakers, earned.
