Dating Clarence Peters and Others is Not True - Chidinma Denies Rumours

Singer Chidinma who rose to stardom after winning the third edition of MTN’s Project Fame West Africa and also well known for her hit single, ‘kedike,’ has been alleged on several occasions that she has had an affair with music artiste like Wizkid, Soundcity presenter Adams, and now she has been recently linked with Clarence Peters.
The singer has debunked these claims and said there is nothing other than friendship going on between herself and the ace music producer, Clarence Peters.

Nollywood Actress, Clarion Chukwura Speaks On Why She Didn't Abort Her Son, Clarence

Not many people are aware of the fact that the most popular music director in Nigeria, Clarence Peters, is Nollywood actress, Clarion Chukwura and Afro-juju legend, Sir Shina Peters, child. Clarion said she took care of Clarence on her own till he became who he is today. In a recent chat with The Nation, she spoke of her reasons for not aborting Clarence even though she had the opportunity. Read excerpts below:

”You know what? It is not because Clarence is successful today. Clarence knows the truth and those who are close to me know the truth. I didn’t have Clarence because I was too helpless to get rid of his pregnancy. I had three sets of friends: there was Dr. Ojikutu( pauses)… when I was in the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), he was ready to do it, free of charge. There was St. Lawrence in Ibadan and St. Jude here in Lagos.

I Started To Know My Father 5 Years Ago--Clarence Peters Reveals

It is no more news that the relationship between Juju maestro, Sir Shina Peters, and Nollywood icon, Clarion Chukwura, produced celebrated music video director, Clarence Peters. But what some may not know is that Clarence started having to relate with his father well about five years ago.
The young peters disclosed recently that it was about five years ago that he began understanding his dad's person.
Clarence said “I started having a relationship with him five years ago. When one starts having a relationship with one’s father when one is older, one tends to understand a lot of things about him which one will not understand as a kid. I understand a lot of his mistakes; I relate with his mistakes and empathise with them. I understand where he was coming from. When we have discussions now, I understand the conversations more, which I am not sure I would have if I were still a kid.

Clarence Peters, Seyi Shay Not An Item – Manager

It was recently reported among blogs that video director, Clarence Peters and Seyi Shay were in a hot romance, with even wedding bells set to ring any time soon. But the singer’s manager, Bayo Akande, has debunked the story. He said what the two celebrity figures had was nothing more than  a “working relationship.”

Akande described the story as ridiculous, saying that his artiste was not romantically involved with the director in any way, that the singer did not have time for ‘idle talk’ as she was working on her album.

 “When we heard the rumour, we did not find it funny. Seyi Shay was not pleased at all. They are not an item. Just because Clarence shot two of her videos does not mean that they are in a relationship. Even Clarence was not happy about the story because he called us,” Akande said.
