COSON STANDS FIRM: Threatens To Boycott Rhythm Unplugged, Headies... If BON/IBAN Do Not Call Off Ban!

Stemming from the ban of Nigerian Music on Radio and Television stations across Nigeria, by members of the Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria (BON) and the Independent Broadcast Association of Nigeria (IBAN).

Artiste (COSON Members) at a music industry forum, which held at Rumours in Ikeja, yesterday (Tuesday 10^th December), have threaten to boycott the forthcoming Rhythm Unplugged, Hip Hop Awards (Headies) and other events.

Because of the event organizers (Rhythm Unplugged - Flytime, Hip Hop Awards (Headies) – Hip TV/Smooth Promotions), affiliations with the Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria (BON) and the Independent Broadcast Association of Nigeria (IBAN).

Sound Sultan Taking A Break From Music?

Olanrewaju Fasasi better known as Sound Sultan is not a rookie when it comes to showbiz. The self- proclaimed Naija Ninja who recently dropped his sixth studio album has disclosed his intention to take  a break from music any moment from now. This, he explained,  is to enable him direct efforts towards building his Naija Ninja brand.

“ I have not done ten percent of what I am supposed to do and currently, I have three artistes on my label. Until three of them drop their albums, I want to actually take a break and allow these talented guys to make their marks,”he’s reported as saying.

Naija Ninja studio television content production company have started work on a series of television project that includes “WHO BE MUMU?" - a situation comedy created and produced by Sound Sultan and 2face Idibia the comedy series feature guest appearance by top Nigerian comedians.
