Graphic Photo: Traffic Warden Yanks out Motorist’s Teeth Over N50

There was pandemonium at the Omole bus stop on Oba Ogunnusi Road in the Ojodu area of Lagos State on Tuesday after a traffic warden, Sunday Charles, engaged in fisticuffs with a motorist, identified only as Kingsley. 

PUNCH Metro learnt that Kingsley, who was stopped by a team of traffic wardens at the junction, was allegedly beaten up by Charles for refusing to part with N50. The motorist lost three front teeth during the brawl. 

Their correspondents gathered that Kingsley and some people in the bus manhandled Charles and threatened to drag him to the Ojodu Police Division for the assault on the driver, before some pedestrians advised them against reporting the incident. 

At about 11.30am, Charles, who was with three female officers and four officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, had stopped Kingsley’s vehicle at the junction.

Policeman Abducts, Brutalises 8-year-old Girl For Rituals

But for God’s intervention and neighbours help. A mobile Police officer who lives in Ketu would have succeeded in using his neighbour’s 8-year old daughter for rituals. The man who has four cars including a jeep escaped been mobbed because he had earlier dashed out of his apartment before neighbours found the girl in his room. 

Neighbours who peeped through the window saw the girl’s hands and legs tied down and a cloth forced down her throat trying to rescue herself in a pool of her own blood. Policeman Rapes, Impregnates Pastor’s 13-yr-Old Daughter

Vanguard is reporting: A police sergeant (names withheld) has been arrested in Anambra State for allegedly raping a 13- year-old daughter of a popular pastor at Nkpor in Idemili Council Area of the state.

The young girl, said to be two months pregnant told her parents last Saturday who was responsible for her pregnancy.

According to a close family source, who does not want to be quoted, the girl told her parents that the policeman had threatened her against telling anyone about the affair.

The source said the threat made her keep the secret until few days ago when she complained to her mother about some symptoms, which after thorough investigation led to her confession of being pregnant.

Funmilayo Adebayo, the victim who was beaten, dragged, and then dipped into putrid muddy water, told SaharaTV that she is slowly recovering from her wounds. But, she has now been warned by her medical doctors not to lift heavy objects due to the internal injuries she suffered from the beating. 

Her brother, Segun, also captured in the video attempting to separate the victim and the policeman, spoke about the incident. Segun said that the moblie police officer Mohammed had shot up to 20 rounds of bullets at the scene of the torture.

Policeman Shoots Dead Wife Before Turning The Gun On Himself In Murder-Suicide

According to NY Daily News: An Indianapolis Metropolitan police officer broke into his estranged wife’s home Thursday evening and shot her dead before turning the gun on himself, police said.

“It’s a very difficult day in the city of Indianapolis,” Mayor Greg Ballard said at a 9:30 p.m. press conference. “We have lost two of our own. This one hurts deeply. This one hurts very deeply.”

Sgt. Ryan Anders forced his way into the back door of Officer Kim Carmack’s home on Inishmore Way on the city’s west side around 5:40 p.m., police Chief Rick Hite said.

Neighbors called police after hearing gunshots, and a responding SWAT team found the two dead inside.

Gangsters Rape, Kill 18 Year Old Sex-Worker in Lagos

Policemen attached to the Orile Police Division in Lagos State have apprehended two gangsters for allegedly raping and killing an 18-year-old commercial sex worker, Oluwatosin Ami. PUNCH Metro reports that the suspects, John-Paul Chukwuebuka, 19; and Ebuka Chimudi, 22; belonged to a gang which specialised in luring young ladies to hotels with the aim of dispossessing them of their belongings and raping them.

According to police authorities, on April 10, 2013, two members of the gang posed as customers and visited the Happy Day Hotel, Orile. Oluwatosin was approached by the suspects and she took them into her room at the hotel which she secured at the cost of N3, 500 per day.The suspects overpowered Oluwatosin and stuffed a cloth in her mouth to prevent her from screaming. She was also bound by the hands, while the suspects took turns in raping her.Afterwards, the suspects stole her phone and money, locked her inside the room, took the key and tossed it into a canal.

Return N1.2m Bride Price Before I Divorce You, Policeman tells Wife

A policeman, Anthony Ibemere, has told an Igando Customary Court in Lagos, Lagos State, that his wife should return the N1.2 million bride price if she insisted on divorce.

Thirty-eight-year-old  Anthony was responding to a divorce suit filed by Uloma, his wife of four years, who accused him of  battery.

“Uloma should return the money I gave her parents during our traditional marriage if she insists on the  dissolution of our four-year-old marriage,” he told the court.

He accused his wife of hiding her marital status by telling people  she was single.
