'Eight Policemen Shot – 3 Dead' As Rampaging Masked Gunman Targets Cops

THREE police officers have been shot dead after a gunman dressed in black opens fire on cops.

A manhunt has been underway for a man dressed in black and wearing a mask who opened fire on cops in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, near Airline Highway, shortly before 9am local time.

Eight cops have shot and three are dead.

It is understood one gunman is down and another is at large.

Several streets near the state capital's police headquarters have been placed on locked down as police hunt two gunmen.

Five Dead And 20 Wounded After Gunman Opens Fire in Crowded Serbia Cafe

At least five people are dead and 20 wounded after a gunman opened fire in a packed cafe in Serbia.

The man, who has been identified only as Z. S., reportedly killed his wife and another woman before entering a cafe armed with an assault rifle in the early hours of this morning.

Police say the suspect was arrested at the scene in a village close to Zrenjanin, which is some 50km north-west of Belgrade, and remains in custody.

‘He just pulled out a gun and started shooting, first into the air,’ one of the witnesses, Svetozar Manojlovic, Serbian state TV.
