Are Christians Second Class Citizens in Nigeria? - By Femi Fani-Kayode

I am glad that Father Mbaka of the Catholic Church has finally seen the light and that he has denounced the Buhari regime. This coming from a man that once supported the President vigorously, even when members of his own flock and faith were being slaughtered, marginalised and humiliated, is cheery news.

Yet there are still many more Church leaders that supported the Buhari government, that sold their souls to the devil and that need to follow Mbaka's example and recant.

The great philosopher, writer and intellectual Mr. Dante Alighieri once said that "the hottest place in hell is reserved for those who maintain their neutrality at a time of moral crisis".

To add to this it was our very own Professor Wole Soyinka, the distinguished Nobel Laureate, that said "the man died in him who remained silent in the face of tyrrany".

Ministry of Education in Nigeria to Merge Christian and Islamic Studies in Schools

The Nigerian Federal Ministry of Education in conjunction with the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC), is working on reducing the workload of primary and junior secondary pupils from 20 to a maximum of ten subjects under the nine-year basic educational curriculum in order to align with International standards.

However, under this program Christian and Islamic Religious Studies, which are separately taught, will now be merged under a compulsory subject known as Religion and National Values (RNV)...... How possible shall this be?

Trump vs. Pope: THE POPE IS 'DISGRACEFUL' - DONALD IS NOT A CHRISTIAN

Donald Trump just went full bore on the Pope, saying the pontiff was "disgraceful" for questioning his faith.
Trump was reacting to the Pope's comment, "A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian." It seems to be a thinly veiled attack against Trump, who wants a wall between the U.S. and Mexico.
Trump went off ... "For a religious leader to question a person's faith is disgraceful. I am proud to be a Christian."
Trump believes the Mexican leaders with whom the Pope just met have poisoned him with one-sided views on immigration, adding, "They are using the Pope as a pawn."

Video: I Thought I'd Be Killed If I Openly Confess Converting To Christianity - Adewale Ayuba

Only few friends, family members and fans of popular Fuji musician, Adewale Ayuba knew that he has converted to Christianity since 2010.
The ex-staunch Muslim, in an open confession in Redeemed Christian Church of God admitted that he is now a full proud Christian.
According to him, he has been a Christian since 2010, but hasn't been practicing it for fear of been killed.
Hear him: "I have been a Christian for so long, even my family members especially my kids are all going to church but I make sure I go every December 31st. If I don't, I will presume the New Year would be filled with dangers that will lead to my death.

1000 Christian Girls Forced To Convert To Islam, Marry Muslim Men In Pakistan

According to a report by the Movement for Solidarity and Peace in Pakistan, up to 700 of these women are Christian and 300 are Hindu.
“The true scale of the problem is likely to be much greater, as a number of cases are never reported or do not progress through the law-enforcement and legal systems,” the authors claim. The Christian community in Pakistan is over two million in size, accounts for 42 per cent of Pakistan’s minority population, and is mostly resident in Punjab.
Christian girls — usually between the ages of 12 and 25 — are abducted, converted to Islam, and married to the abductor or third party. The victim’s family usually files a First Information Report for abduction or r*pe with the local police station.
