Policeman’s Wife Stabs Neighbour for Laughing

The wife of a policeman attached to the state police command allegedly stabbed her neighbour, Mrs. Olaitan Ayobami.The unfortunate incident happened on Etunrere Street in the Ikorodu area of Lagos on Monday.

The cop’s wife, Mrs. Desola Ochoche, fled the residence afterwards, leaving Ayobami for dead. Ayobami was later rushed to a private hospital in the area.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the attack was caused by a scuffle between the duo on Sunday when Ochoche reportedly challenged Ayobami to a duel for laughing at her.

It was gathered that they were separated only for the fight to resume around 6am on Monday when Ayobami, a teacher, wanted to bathe.

Man Stabs Friend To Death Over N2,000 in Lagos, Nigeria

The remains of 37-year-old Kamoli Isiaka, who was stabbed to death by his friend Azeez, last week, at Ololade Street at Morogbo community, have been committed to mother earth at a Muslim burial ground at Iyana Isashi.

It was gathered that the late Isiaka and his friend, Azeez, had issue  over N2,000 given to them by one Mr. Ololade in the neighbourhood, which led to the former being stabbed in the neck by the latter.

When Vanguard reporter visited the scene of the incident at Ololade Street in Morogbo community,  the family and friends of the deceased had already gone to Badagry General Hospital to retrieve the remains for burial according to Muslim rites.

Man Stabs Mother To Death For Refusing To Accept His Pregnant Lover

A 30-year-old man, Ibrahim Oniyide, who allegedly stabbed his mother to death at 3, Olubunmi Christopher Drive, off Arowolo Street, Abule Egba area of Lagos state, has been remanded in prison.

The Prosecutor, Sgt. Maria Dauda, told the court that Ibrahim killed his mother, Tawa Oniyide, by stabbing her with a kitchen knife all over her body.

“The suspect on the fateful day had gone to introduce a woman to his mother as his future wife, demanding that she accommodate her.

“The deceased disagreed with her son on the issue, refusing to accept the eight months old pregnant woman into her house.

“She said she was not interested in her and that her son should have brought the woman when the pregnancy was still in the early stage.

Pastor On The Run After He Stabs Wife To Death in Edo, Nigeria

A Pastor identified as Henry Ojochunu Ekukpe is wanted for  allegedly stabbed his 29 year old wife to death in the presence of their six year-old baby, leaving a note containing ten questions he expected his late wife to answer.

 It was learnt that Henry who got married to Patience in 2014 has been having issues that forced the deceased out of his house months ago. The run away Pastor is said to Pastor in one of the branches of Mountain of Victory and Fire Deliverance Ministry in Benin City. 

Vanguard learnt that trouble started last Sunday when the Pastor invited the deceased for a dialogue under the guise that he wants her back to the house.

It was learnt that when the deceased came, the Pastor used a hidden knife to stab her in different parts of her body and escaped from the area.

Carol Ann Coronado's three girls were discovered laid out on her bed with their throats slit.

Man Stabs 7 Months Pregnant Neighbour After She Caught Him Trying To Rob Her

A mother of two, Mrs. Oyinyechi Chinaka, who was 7 months pregnant with her 3rd child, was reportedly stabbed several times by her neighbor when she caught him rummaging through her purse and trying to steal money from it in her home on Anjorin street, Mushin, Lagos. She was quickly rushed to Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba, but she lost the pregnancy.

The suspect was said to have stabbed Mrs. Chinaka with a kitchen knife severally times on her stomach, arm and neck and left to bleed to death.

The victim, who spoke to Sunday Vanguard on her hospital bed said:

“ I was at home that fateful day when my children came to me in the kitchen where I was cooking to say electricity had been restored, and that I should come to the living room to play a cartoon video, called Power Ranger, for them. I left what I was doing and   went to operate the television for them. But to my astonishment, I saw the neighbour in my room. He was going through my purse to steal money.

Pregnant Chicago Woman Fatally Stabs Boyfriend For Not Buying Her Gifts

ChicagoTribune: is reporting that: A judge set bail today at $1 million for a pregnant woman accused of fatally stabbing her boyfriend at their Southwest Side home after they fought because the man didn’t’ buy anything for her at a shopping mall.

Judge Maria Kuriakos Ciesil set the bail for Miata Phelan, 24, of the 6800 block of South Talman Avenue, who is charged with first-degree murder.

The visibly pregnant Phelan, who appeared in court today wearing pink sweat pants with black stripes, a pink top, and black leather jacket, allegedly plunged a knife into Larry Martin’s left flank on April 30, prosecutors said.

Policeman Stabs Colleague 57 Times For Befriending Wife

The Provost section of the Lagos State Police Command has commenced an orderly room trial for a 36-year-old police corporal, Halidu Shaibu, for the alleged murder of his colleague, Yeiwa Babangida. According to police authorities, the suspect stabbed the deceased 57 times in a room they both shared in the Tinubu area of Lagos Island.

Shaibu, an indigene of Bauchi State, told police investigators that he killed 34-year-old Babangida because the late cop was having sexual relations with his wife. It was learnt that the suspect is attached to the E Department at the Force headquarters annex, Kam Salem House, Obalende, Lagos. The deceased, who hails from Gombe State, was said to be attached to police Mobile Force 2, Lagos.

Man Stabs Alleged Homosexual Boss to Death In Self Defense

A 22-year-old man, Eji Emmanuel, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for the alleged murder of a 39-year-old trader, Sylvanus Okoye. According to the police, the suspect stabbed the deceased to death at his home on Ezemegbu Drive, Okota in August.

The suspect, however, explained that he killed the deceased in self-defence. He alleged that on the day of the incident, Okoye had attempted to rape him.

Explaining the events that culminated in Okoye’s death, the suspect said he was a dancer and was lured to Lagos by a friend, Chukwudi, under the guise of doing music business only for the friend to introduce him to homosexuality.
