Tupac's Estate Threatens Auctioneer With Lawsuit

Tupac's estate is pissed yet another person is trying to take advantage of his art, and plans to block the sale of his handwritten lyrics to "Catchin' Feelings."  
Pac's estate claims managers and employees had a fire sale after the rapper's death -- selling off tons of his personal property -- but says it is the rightful owner of all his lyrics and written creations, because he never sold any of them.  
As we reported, memorabilia company Moments in Time plans to sell the original lyric sheet on Sept. 13th ... the 20th anniversary of Pac's death.

Brandy Sues Her Record Label For $1 Million

Brandy Norwood, this week filed a lawsuit against her record label Chameleon Entertainment to not only void her contract but also asking that they pay up to $1 million in compensatory damages.
According to the singer, the label will not let her release new music, nor record a new album in efforts to pressure her into signing a new contract.
According to Entertainment Weekly, her attorneys are accusing the label of making a “blatantly unlawful attempt to bully Norwood into signing a new recording and distribution agreement containing terms far worse than her current agreement.”

Black Women’s Book Club Wins $11 Million Racial Discrimination Lawsuit Against Napa Valley Wine Train

A Black women’s book club group were harshly removed from a California vineyard tour after white patrons accused them of being too loud on their train ride. According to Reuters reports:
Eleven women have reached a settlement with a California wine train company they sued for $11 million for racial discrimination after they were kicked off the train for being too loud, their lawyer said on Monday.
Members of the Sistahs on the Reading Edge Book Club came to an “amicable settlement” with the Napa Valley Wine Train company on Thursday, six months after filing a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Northern California, their attorney Waukeen McCoy said.

Hulk Hogan's Victory Keeps Growing As His Awarded Another $25M in Sex Tape Lawsuit

WRESTLER Hulk Hogan just got awarded an extra $25million in punitive damages from his sex tape lawsuit.


That brings his total to a massive $140m. The extra $25m is made up of $15m from Gawker Media and $10m from site owner Nick Denton.
The editor responsible for posting the tape, A.J. Daulerio must hand over $100,000.
The company issued a statement saying it is confident this verdict will be overturned after an appeal.


t says it had the right to share the tape due to it being newsworthy and therefore protected by the First Amendment.

Future Says Ciara's Lawsuit Is a Joke ... She's Making Money Off Bad Mouthing Me

Ciara's throwing $15 million rocks from inside a giant glass house ... which is why Future thinks she doesn't have a chance in hell of winning a dime off him. 
Sources close to Future tell TMZ, the rapper thinks it's absurd his baby mama filed the slander suit, since she's talked plenty of trash on him. We're told he believes Exhibit A is her 2015 platinum selling hit, "I Bet." 
With lyrics like ... "You know that it hurts your pride but you thought the grass was greener on the other side.

Miguel’s Leg Drop Victim At Billboard Awards; Suffering Brain Damage Symptoms


The girl who took Miguel’s leg drop to the head at the Billboard Music Awards last month suffered serious trauma — symptoms consistent with brain damage, the victim’s lawyer tells TMZ.
As you’ll recall … Miguel took a flying, theatrical leap across the stage and landed with thunderous force on Khyati Shah’s head.
Vip Bhola, Shah’s lawyer, says, “Some of the difficulties she’s experiencing are cognitive in nature and lead to suspicion of a neurological head injury.”

Miguel Facing Lawsuit For Injuring Fan At Billboard Awards


The last thing Miguel wants is a lawsuit. But he may just have one. Khyati Shah—the audience member who was accidentally landed on by the singer during his performance at the Billboard Music Awards a few weeks back—is now “considering” legal action.
Shah’s attorney, Vip Bhola, tells E! News exclusively that a decision will be made soon on whether to file a lawsuit against Miguel pending Khyati’s most recent medical results. He noted that the fan has been experiencing “difficulties” as a result of the incident.
“We will determine that after we have feedback from medical providers,” Bhola told E! News, declining to give a timeline on when any civil action might be filed.

Oprah Hit With Sexual Discrimination Lawsuit



Oprah Winfrey does not look out for her OWN.
At least not according to a new lawsuit accusing her and the network of sexual discrimination. A female exec claims she got the chop after getting pregnant! 
Carolyn Hommel says in her lawsuit, filed Friday, which she was hired in 2010 as senior director of scheduling and acquisitions at Oprah's OWN network.
Hommel claims she was told she was on track to become a Vice President with the organization, but says things changed when she became pregnant.
