Angry Woman Tries To Shoot Barber Because She Hated Haircut

An angry San Diego was ready to shoot up a barbershop because she hated her new haircut. According to WKBW reports, 29-year-old Adrian Blanche Swain wanted a haircut like Rihanna but returned to the salon after realizing the style wasn’t good enough.

Swain tried to open fire at the stylist with a pistol — pulling the trigger three times — but police said the “gun had bullets but malfunctioned.”

“619 Barber Shop has been in business for 20-plus years here in North Park, we’ve never had any incident like that,” barber Chris Tatum said. “When she came in she seemed to be a very pleasant young lady.”

Teen Dies Saving Girlfriend In Train Accident

According to SF Gate: A Northern California town was reeling Saturday after learning that a teenage boy was killed and a teenage girl was seriously injured after they were hit by a freight train while walking to a Sadie Hawkins Day dance. The accident Friday evening occurred near Marysville’s only high school and a little league park where a game was being played. Investigators told KCRA-TV the teens were walking southbound on the tracks — the same direction as the train.

Relatives told the station the 16-year-old girl, Mickayla Friend, and her boyfriend had planned to take a short walk to the Dollar Tree store to buy some food before heading to the dance at their school. “It’s her first boyfriend, and her first love,” Alithya Friend said. “And she just got it taken away from her in an instant.”

Michael Jackson's Doctor, Conrad Murray Conviction Upheld By Court

A court has unanimously upheld the involuntary manslaughter conviction of Michael Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray. The ruling came less than three months after the former cardiologist was released from prison after serving two years for causing the singer's death in 2009.

Murray was convicted in 2011 of giving Jackson a lethal dose of the anaesthetic propofol while the star was preparing for a series of comeback concerts.

The six-week trial focused on Murray's care of Jackson, including nightly doses of the drug to help the entertainer sleep.

The California 2nd District Court of Appeal determined that Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor was within his right to impose the maximum sentence of four years.

Paul Walker Crash Down To 'Speed And Speed Alone'

The Porsche Carrera GT that crashed killing Fast & Furious actor Paul Walker had no mechanical problems, according to investigators. A police official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the car lost control due to "speed, and speed alone".

The investigation also ruled out debris in road as causing the car in which Walker was a passenger to smash into a street light and a tree. The actor and driver, his friend and financial adviser Roger Rodas, were both killed in the accident on November 30.

Investigators have refused to set a firm speed at which they think the car was travelling until Porsche engineers come to California next month to extract information from on-board data collectors.

Couple Born On The Same Day & Married 75 Years Passes Away One Day Apart

Helen and Les Brown, a couple of California sweethearts born on the same day and married 75 years ago, died earlier this month - one day apart. They were 94.

"It was a real love match, wasn't it?" their oldest son, Les Jr., told the Long Beach Press-Telegram. "They were together every day for 75 years."

The young Long Beach lovebirds eloped on September 19, 1937, and were married against their own parents' wishes, according to their sons.

Helen was from a working-class family, while Les was from a wealthier one. Both sides believed the love would never last ... so much for that.
