Police in Bayelsa State have paraded
6 kidnappers who robbed the home of a woman known as Mrs. Ebitimi Salvation and
also abducted her after the robbery. According to the Police, Mrs. Ebitimi’s
brother planned her kidnap and also robbed her husband of N500, 000 during the
operation.
Luck however ran out on them, as the
boat they were using to convey their victim to an unknown destination suddenly
developed a fault and stopped working.
The marine police, who sighted them,
swooped and arrested them along the Southern Ijaw waterways as they made to
escape.
It was said that, Mrs Ebitimi’s
brother, Bright wore a mask all through the operation and escaped arrest. The
police are however still looking for him.
