I am almost 26-years old and have been married for 5 years.

My Husband works at night and we hardly do anything together because he’s sleeping during the day because of his work schedule. We have a 3-year old together. Lately, I was been having dreams of an ex from years ago. He was my first real boyfriend at age 18. I felt like I really missed him so I contacted him, and we text and talk daily. I miss what we had. I’m thinking of an open relationship, but don’t know how to tell my husband. I am so confused. Can you the readers of this blog, guide me on the right way and what do you think I should do?  EEB Reader.

Family Of Supreme Court Justice Kidnapped

Gunmen have abducted the wife, daughter, and driver of a Supreme Court Justice, Bode Rhodes-Vivour. The victims were travelling to Edo State, ahead of the Justice’s daughter’s wedding ceremony.

It was learnt that they were kidnapped between Ekiadolor and Okada along along the Ore-Benin Expressway. When contacted on the telephone, Edo State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Moses Eguavoen, said he was unaware of the development.

He said, “I am not aware of that, but let me call the control room and get back to you.”

When one of our correspondents contacted, the Media Assistant to the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Mr. Isah Ahuraka, he confirmed the development. He said, “Justice Rhodes-Vivour’s wife, daughter and driver were kidnapped in Benin.”

Workers clearing a collapsed building site in Bangladesh rescue a woman from the rubble of a clothing factory that collapsed 17 days ago.

Bangladeshi television channels broadcast live footage of emergency service workers pulling the woman out from the debris, as onlookers burst into cheers.

The woman, called Reshma, was discovered on the second floor of the eight-storey Rana Plaza building in the capital Dhaka, where crews had been focusing on recovering bodies, not rescuing survivors, for much of the past two weeks.

Looking at things happening to Judith Opara Mazagwu, aka Afrocandy, Nigerian artiste based in the United States, it appears that controversy is gradually becoming her second name.

First, her Porn videos caused a stir on the Internet and major blogs, to the extent that angry Nigerians fired her hate mails.

Afrocandy had told Daily Sun, in an interview published on September 3, 2010, that she didn’t dump her US-based husband, Boltin Mazagwu. She said:

“There has been lots of rumours going on about my marriage and it is only a few people who know the truth. The fact is, I did not leave my husband; my husband rather left, due to some gossip he heard about something that happened back in Nigeria before I joined him in the US.

I begged him and he came back. When he left the second time that pushed me to give him a restraining order. I really would not like to go into details because I see that as past and I will like the past to remain where it belongs because I have moved on; talking about it takes me backward.”

A can of beer hardly qualifies as a major ethical violation, but considering almost all his followers are underage in the States, was sending out this picture really a good idea?

Nollywood Damsels go Bald

The trio of Ebube Nwagbo, Angela Okorie and Chita Agwu has a lot in common and the first of those qualities must be beauty, brawn and plenty of brain.  But what on earth would make the three women go bald, looking like Hindus having a sort of religious reverie?

The answer isn’t to be a needle-in-a-haystack kind of thing as one of the damsels; Chita Agwu has revealed they are shooting a film in Owerri about widows who kill their husbands for money. The movie, which is titled “Widows Cot”, has 14 Nollywood beauties that shaved their hair to meet the requirements of the movie script.

The movie is still being shot and already the talking point has been about Ebube, Angela and Chita shaving their hair for money as Chika Ike was recently taunted for shaving her hair for cheap money even when some reports had it that she was paid N5 million for the effort.

A man died in Lagos yesterday, Friday 10th of May after he was crushed to death by a mast which fell off a 2-storey building. The man, a 52-year old roadside trader identified as Adeolu Adeleke had reportedly gone to protect his wares from the heavy rain and winds but was crushed by the mast as he made his way back to his shade. How they got me pregnant at Imo State baby factory - victim narrates

The Imo State police command, earlier in the week, rescued 17 pregnant teenagers from a baby making factory. (Read HERE ). Below is an update on the story.

Nine girls, forced into pregnancy at a ‘baby factory’ in Imo State ,yesterday spoke of how they became victims. The nine were arrested by the police yesterday after initially escaping during a raid of the ‘baby factory’.

Their arrest brings to 26 the number of victims rescued from Ahamefula Motherless Babies Home, Umuaka in Njaba Ciouncil Area of the state. They are aged between 14 and 25.

The visibly exhausted girls said that they were held against their wish by the proprietor of the so-called motherless babies home simply known as Madam One Thousand. The victims are all from Imo .

They said their parents were unaware of their whereabouts.

According to them, they were taken to the ‘baby factory’ by scouts engaged by Madam One Thousand.

Lagos State Government Bans 'Keke Marwa' From Major Roads

Lagos State government has banned the activities of Tricycle popularly called ‘Keke Marwa’ from the major roads in the state, saying, “it is meant to protect the lives and property of the residents of the state.”

Commissioner for transportation,­ Mr. Kayode Opeifa disclosed this at the 2013 Ministerial Press Briefing held in Alausa to mark the sixth anniversary of Governor Babatunde Fashola’s administration. He said that the state government had held several meetings with the unions on the development, adding “they have agreed to stay away from these roads.”

Some of the roads tricycles operation was outlawed were: the entire Victoria Island, Government Residential Area, GRA Ikeja and Ikoyi. Also on Awolowo road and Awolowo way, Alausa and entire major roads in Surulere Local Government.
