“I Thought I Was Crossing Over To The Other Side” – Harrysong Speaks On Near Death Experience

Five Star Music act Harrysong and his crew were involved in a near death experience after surviving a serious accident.

IG User @Ms_Adunni reported that Harrysong and crew “had a terrible and deadly accident along Owerri-Onitsha expressway. They were on their way to Owerri to catch a flight to Lagos where Harrysong was supposed to perform at the Opening Gala night of Project Fame season 9. Thankfully, no one was hurt.”

Five Star Music Artiste, Harrysong and crew had a terrible and deadly accident along Owerri-Onitsha expressway yesterday.

They were on their way to Owerri to catch a flight to Lagos where Harrysong was supposed to perform at the Opening Gala night of Project Fame season 9. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

Five Star Music artiste, Harrysong shared a photo of his grandmother who he said sold wrappers to pay his school fees and studio sessions. He wrote:

"Ya'll say thank u to my grandmother. .I call her miloskey. ..the woman that sold wrappers for my school and studio sessions..

I Charge N1m to Write Songs – Harrysong

Harrysong who is signed to Kcee's Fivestar music and wrote Kcee's limpopo told Punch that these days he charges as much as 1 million naira to write a song..He also said he made over 50M from MTN callerback tunes for his "Mandela song"That's good oh!

“Before now we charged between N100, 000 and N2000, 000 for a song. Today I charge as much as 1million to write a song. Truth is, Nigerian artistes have begun to appreciate songwriters. They pay me my money and appreciate me. I have written a lot of songs but I don’t talk about them because Nigerian artistes don’t like it when the songwriters take credit for composing songs for them.”

 The proceeds from the caller-back tune is actually worth more than N50m. Truth is, I was paid a lot of money;  you know -  when they say money that can change someone’s life. That’s the value of what I received .I can’t reveal the exact amount because we work as a team. So, all the money realised is shared among us. You just want to forget all the years of suffering. It’s not a mere hype because the money is there. The song is everywhere. You go to South-Africa , the girls are crazy about it."

What Happened Between Me and Uche Ogbodo' – Harrysong Issues Statement

I am forced to speak on the picture of myself and actress Uche Ogbodo being circulated around the web following queries from fans and well wishers. I was going to let it play like any other joke but I was stunned when a fan recently - should I say excited fan - attacked me verbally on a radio station where I dropped by to talk about being a part of 2face's Campus connect tour.

First, Uche Ogbodo is a very dear friend but we are not dating. She's more of a sister to me and not a lover. I believe a peck doesn't necessarily translate to an affair but I could be wrong. Maybe it is not common amongst my colleagues to own up during an affair but I can assure you that we are not an item. In all modesty, Writing hit songs for my colleagues like 'Limpopo' by KCee and Omotola Ekeinde, recording my own songs (working on a new single), still promoting my new video for 'I'm in love' remix with Olamide as well readying another video possibly for my track with Timaya would be a lot to combine with a relationship, at this point.
