MICHAEL Schumacher is "making progress" in the fight to recover from his near-fatal skiing crash in the French Alps, his manager has said.
Sabine Kehm said the F1 legend continues to recover but said people "must always keep the seriousness of his injuries in mind".
The German driver was left with devastating brain injuries after the accident in ski-resort Meribel in December 2013.
Schumacher spent several months in a coma fighting for his life.
But last June he miraculously regained consciousness and in September 2014 returned home to Gland on Lake Geneva, Switzerland.
His family have imposed a near-total news blackout on the care he is receiving at his Swiss mansion by a team of carers.
In February, doctors reported little progress by the 46-year-old, who is still immobile and can’t speak.
Schumacher was crowned the wealthiest driver ever to have raced in F1, with a fortune in excess of £520million.
But the seven-time world champion’s family is facing spiralling care costs estimated at over £10million.
Last month wife Corinna reportedly sold the F1 ace's £25m private jet and holiday pad because she had accepted he will “never fully recover to enjoy them again”.
