A child rapist found guilty of abusing five children he babysat for more than a decade has been jailed for 16 years.
Martin Hostler, from Leeds, has been found guilty of 28 offences involving the five children he babysat between 1995 and 2008.
His youngest victim was just eight years old when he abused her.
The 49-year-old repeatedly raped three of the girls and even used alcohol to bribe the children into silence.
The court heard how he struck up friendships with the mothers of two families and offered to care for their children while they were out at work.
However he neglected to tell them he had previously been given a two year probation order after pleading guilty to three offences of indecent assault on a child in 1994, just one year before he started abusing the children involved in this case.
Hostler, who used to be employed as a minibus driver, was only arrested when the mother of one of his victims posted allegations against him to social media in 2013.
This alerted the police and other mothers of victims to come forward, building the case against the man.
