There are few bonds stronger than that between a man and his dog.
This was certainly the case when Nathan Back returned to his home in Provo, Utah, after a two-year Mormon mission to Russia.
The 21-year-old knocked on the door of his family home, sparking the incredible reaction from Bailey, a Beagle Coonhound mix.
Bailey screams and squeals as he licks Nathan when he eventually managed to get through the door.
Nathan’s father, Allan, said that after Nathan left, the dog became very sad and looked for him in his bedroom.
But upon his return he said: ‘It was sweet to see our dog’s joyful reunion with his boy.’
