William And Harry Help With Flood Relief

The Royal princes have made an unannounced visit to a flood-hit village in Berkshire, to help colleagues from the Armed Forces shore up flood defences. Dressed in waterproofs and wellington boots, William and Harry volunteered alongside the Household Cavalry on Friday morning in Datchet, Berkshire.

The Duke of Cambridge and his brother worked from around 6am, helping residents protect their properties with sandbags. Kensington Palace said: "The Princes have both seen the pictures. They wanted to do their bit to help in a private capacity.

"The most appropriate way was through the Armed Forces relief effort."

Video: Prince William Jumps on Stage For a Sing-Along with Taylor Swift & Jon Bon Jovi

Prince William stunned crowds at Kensington Palace tonight by jumping on stage with Taylor Swift and Jon Bon Jovi for an 'off-the-cuff' rendition of 'Livin' on a Prayer'. The Duke of Cambridge met Taylor and Bon Jovi at a drinks reception before the start of the Winter Whites Gala in aid of the Centrepoint charity. However nobody could have guessed how the evening would end as William accepted an invitation to join 80s rocker Bon Jovi on stage, but insisting he would only do it if Taylor came too. A Portrait Of A Modern Monarchy

It is a fascinating blend of well-trodden history and social mobility.
Clustered around a Chippendale sofa in the sunbathed Morning Room of Clarence House, this new group photograph of the Windsor and Middleton dynasties is arguably the most intriguing of the christening portraits released yesterday.

Despite the Queen’s presence and the rather Victorian familial grouping, there is a decidedly relaxed air to the picture, a portrait of a Royal Family for the modern age. Indeed, aside from the Queen, the most magisterial figure is the Duchess of Cambridge’s younger brother James, whose beard makes him look uncannily like his nephew’s great, great, great-grandfather, King George V, or even a younger looking Prince Michael of Kent.

The world has seen the royal baby for the first time as the future king left hospital with his ecstatic parents, who revealed they had not yet chosen him a name. Prince William and Kate waved and smiled broadly to the waiting cameras as they held their prince on the steps of the private Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital in London, 26 hours after he was delivered, weighing 8lbs 6oz.

#ItsABoy! Kate Middleton & Prince William Welcome Their First Child

The Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a baby boy, Kensington Palace has announced.
The baby was delivered at 16:24 BST at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, west London, weighing 8lb 6oz.
The palace said in a statement that the duchess and the baby were "doing well" and would stay in hospital overnight.

Kate Middleton Baby Countdown: IT'S ON!!

The countdown to the birth of Kate Middleton and Prince William's baby is ON!
So Us tells us in its new cover story ... which basically reveals nothing new.
Still, Kate Middleton is beautiful and seems cool, so what's not to like? After all, the royal couple has been extremely tight-lipped regarding baby names or even its gender, so don't expect non-stop updates a la Kim Kardashian.
That's the thing about William and Kate. Thoroughly modern monarchs, the couple seems determined to give their child as normal a life as possible.
