William And Harry Help With Flood Relief

The Royal princes have made an unannounced visit to a flood-hit village in Berkshire, to help colleagues from the Armed Forces shore up flood defences. Dressed in waterproofs and wellington boots, William and Harry volunteered alongside the Household Cavalry on Friday morning in Datchet, Berkshire.

The Duke of Cambridge and his brother worked from around 6am, helping residents protect their properties with sandbags. Kensington Palace said: "The Princes have both seen the pictures. They wanted to do their bit to help in a private capacity.

"The most appropriate way was through the Armed Forces relief effort."

Prince Harry: I Hope My MUM Princess Diana Is Proud Of Me

Prince Harry has said he hopes his late mother would be "proud" of his fundraising efforts, as he launched a project to help disadvantaged children in South Africa.
The Prince mentioned Diana, Princess of Wales, as he gave a speech at a gala dinner for his Sentebale charity.
Earlier in the day, he met youngsters at a school for deaf children in Lesotho, where he learned sign language and took part in a kneeling dance.

The royal hopes to raise £2.5m to build the Mamohato Centre, which will provide psychological care and offer mentoring to children with HIV/Aids.
