MI, Kelly Handsome End 5 Year Feud

Kelly Handsome and M.I who have been engaged in a five-year old feud have buried the hatchet and let bygones be bygones. The feud started when Kelly Handsome took acerbic shots at some popular Nigerian artistes years back. M.I who was an upcoming artiste as at the time wasn’t spared of the ‘Maga don pay’ crooner’s criticism. This resulted in an exchange of hate tracks between Kelly Handsome and M.I.  According to reports, Kelly Handsome reached out to M.I and ended their five year old feud.

I’m Not At War With MI — Says Jesse Jagz

In an interview with the Punch, Rap artiste, Jesse Jagz talks about his career and his exit from Chocolate City:
How is life, now that you have exited Chocolate City?
It has been great. I have had to adjust but it is good because the same team that was with me at Chocolate City is the same team with me now and I have not had to do anything new. At the same time, it is still a lot of responsibility and that is why the adjustment is needed.
There has been a lot of misconception on why you let your former label…
I spent five years at Chocolate City. I got there in 2007 and left officially in 2012. Chocolate City is not my company. I had put in so much work in my new album and felt it was time for me to do things for myself. It was not a spur of the moment decision; it was something I had thought about over time. The reason why I probably did not tell anybody was because sometimes, family might be more concerned about you taking business risks. The day I took the decision, I did not tell anyone including my brother, MI. I produced about four albums for Chocolate City. I don’t owe them anything and I don’t know where the news that my contract had not run out came from.

A Shocking Confession From Mr. Incredible - M.I

It’s obvious that there are many deep layers to this diminutive artiste. And what M.I can’t tell through his music he’ll tell you straight up!
If any one ever had ever had any doubt about his incredible talent, it wasn't M.I as he regaled the station crew of Dream 925FM, where he chose to hang out just a few hours before the Star Music Trek concert in Enugu on Saturday, with exciting snippets of his 'grass to grace’ days.
Who knew that in his ‘hustling’ days he was popular Jeremiah Gyang’s Personal Assistant? And that he met Waje and Djinee in Enugu for the first time while struggling to establish his career? And who knew that 7000 miles away from home, (U.S,) a lonely M.I had to resort to washing toilets to put food on his table?

MI [Mr. Incredible] Finally Finds His Missing Rib!

Jude Abaga popularly called MI and one of the most eligible bachelors in the Nigerian music industry has finally found his missing rib. Where? Right on the stage of the famous Star Music Trek concert which held at Hero Square, Owerri over the weekend. His gorgeous ‘partner’, ChinyereOkafor whom he selected from the sell out crowd, added her beautiful voice on stage to his rendition of his hit single “One Naira’’
And in total awe of her performance, M.I symbolically removed his gold necklace, proudly proclaiming her, the new ‘Mrs.Abaga’. ‘Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to you, the new MrsAbaga…’ he told Owerri fans as he hugged Okafor.
Interestingly, earlier in the day, during a stop over at Hot FM,colleague JMartins had prophetically declared that M.I would find his missing rib in Owerri. The rapper said 'amen', and gave a mock wedding speech, with Phyno and Martins urging him on… However the ‘wedding’ which was an entertaining interlude during his show stopping performance was actually just another performance, one of the many notable ones the popular entertainer reeled out through out his 5-star set...

Brymo Leaves Chocolate City

News just broke out on social media that Brymo has left Chocolate City. I don’t have any confirmation of that, however, HipHopWorld Magazine is a largely- reliable source, and they spearheaded the news. Here’s what they had to say.
“Brymo has decided to call it quits with Chocolate City. This latest development occurs barely two months after former label mate Jesse Jagz walked away from the company.HipHopWorld has it on reliable information that the “Ara” singer officially parted ways with ‘Choc City’ over the weekend; but both parties have managed to keep a lid on the issue until now.Brymo has been rumored to be not-so-friendly with some members of the Choc family; and apart from the business side of things, it doesn’t seem like ‘The Son of a Kapenta’ will be sorely missed by his remaining label-mates.
Chocolate City now only has M.I and Ice Prince left as its established acts.”

Chocolate City Official Statement on the Jesse Jagz Departure

The rumour mill has been working overtime and the result is some information that has surfaced online regarding the Choc City versus Jesse Jags story. The NETNG.com website produced libellous information which made several allegations against the record label without confirming facts prior to the release.

In one allegation, it made comments that Choc City had two so-called “strong claims” against the said Artiste, one of which stated that Jesse Jags owed the label some un-paid debt and the other which claimed the label leaked that the Artiste was addicted to Marijuana. World PR Media (who recently began to handle PR activities on behalf of the label) released the following facts and forwarded the following statements on behalf of Choc City.
