Woman Stabbed 32 Times Receives Dream Proposal... From Paramedic Who Saved Her Life

A WOMAN who miraculously survived after being stabbed 32 times has just received a dream proposal.

From the man who saved her life.
Melissa Dohme was left for dead on a Florida pavement after her ex-boyfriend brutally attacked her on January 24, 2012.
She flat-lined four times in hospital and one of the first paramedics on the scene, Cameron Hill, told the Tampa Bay Times Melissa was so covered in blood "you couldn't tell she was blonde".

A trauma surgeon said it was a miracle she survived. She suffered a stroke from the blood loss and had cuts across her arms, neck, head and face. Her teeth were knocked out, and her skull was cracked.

Robert Lee Burton pleaded guilty to attempted murder in August 2013 and was sentenced to life in prison.
Since the attack Melissa began to campaign for awareness against domestic abuse.
In 2012 she was due to give a talk at a church when two of the paramedics who saved her life showed up.

Cameron was one of them and the pair soon began dating.
On Monday they went to a Tampa Bay Devils Rays baseball game where Melissa was set to throw the first pitch.
Instead Cameron jogged onto the field and handed her a ball with "WILL YOU MARRY ME" inked on it.
The romantic medic then dropped to one knee and pulled out a ring.
"He’s the one I’ve been waiting for," Melissa told the Tampa Bay Times. "My fairy tale."
