Anorexic Girl Who Survived On 1 Apple Every Two Days Becomes A Model

An anorexic woman who nearly died after surviving off just one apple every two days has made an amazing recovery to become a model.
In the height of her illness, Megan Armer, 22, of Leeds, weighed 4st 3lb – the average size of a six-year-old.
The young woman explained that she used to get bullied at school at the age of 12.
She said: ‘From primary school the other children used to called me a fat b****.
‘They would never let me on the climbing frame, saying I was too heavy.
‘I wasn’t particularly overweight, but sometimes kids can be so cruel.’

In order to drop as much weight as possible she even abused laxatives which eventually led to a prolapsed bowel that required urgent surgery to fix.
The turning point for Megan was being admitted to a psychiatric ward for almost two and half years to help her battle the illness.
She returned to a healthy weight and underwent breast enhancement surgery to make herself feel more confident.
Now Megan is celebrating her new body by signing up to a modelling agency.

She said: ‘When I was anorexic, it was all about making everything smaller.
‘The thought of having surgery to enlarge anything on my body would have repulsed me.
‘Signing with the agency was a huge boost to my confidence. I would never dared think this would happen all those years ago.’
