A pilot has shared a touching letter given to a colleague in light of the Germanwings disaster.
Jai Dillon posted the letter on Twitter from a passenger known only as Bethanie who offers a ‘compassionate hand’ to the pilots.
‘At the end of the day, we are all humans just trying to live this rollecoaster of a life we have been handed,’ she wrote.
She then goes on to say thank you for taking her home safely and ‘allowing me to live the life I do in sSpain and split time with my family in England too.’
Among them was pilot Andreas Lubitz who is believed to have locked himself in the cockpit then flown the plane deliberately into the side of a mountain.
