Speaking with P.M.NEWS this morning on the accident, Prince Kosoko described it as a minor one, adding that he was immediately taken to the clinic at Alausa secretariat where he was attended to by a doctor.
Investigations revealed that moments after the crash, 7-UP emergency officials and LASTMA men who were around, gave him emergency treatment before rushing him to the Alausa secretariat clinic.
Sources close to the popular actor revealed that the accident occurred as a result of brake failure, adding that the car was badly damaged.
“The man lost control of the car as a result of brake failure and that was it,” an actress disclosed.
P.M.NEWS gathered further that Prince Kosoko is recuperating at home. The veteran Yoruba actor on Sunday, 12 January, celebrated his 60th birthday. To celebrate the day, a party was organised for him at Troy Lounge, Ogba, Lagos.
Dignitaries at the party include movie stars like Fathia Balogun, Ngozi Nwosu, Antar Laniyan, Ayo Badmus, Doris Simeon, Sola Kosoko, Ayo Adesanya, Dele Odule, Yomi Fabiyi and others.
