On being married for 20 years

It’s just been fun. I’m married to my friend and should I say, my destiny supporter. There’s no relationship without its challenge. When people hear that we are celebrated twenty years, they think we must be really without stress or anything, but I just want to let people know that if you are determined to do it in life, if you are determined to make it, you will make it. You have troubles in life generally anyway; either with your parents, or with your siblings.

Omotola Jalade Attacks Lagos State Government, Electric Power Companies

The various challenges being faced in Nigeria has now become a serious pain in the neck which many of its citizens are not able to bottle up anymore.

One of such person is Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade Ekehinde, who has come out to complain about the electricity problem faced in Lagos state and other parts of the country.

According to her, “One of The biggest fraud in Nigeria is the PHCN. In Ikeja, there's no meter, No LIGHT EVER and they still bring bills! high bills!” With the hash tag, ‘# don’t push me’

The actress got angry with the present administration of Governor Ambode, who has been asking for various taxes and persecuting people for the services his state has not offered.

Omotola Blasts Bloggers Over Daughter’s Online Pictures

Nollywood actress, Omotola Jolade-Ekeinde has blasted bloggers  for posting pictures of her under-aged daughter on the internet. The blogosphere has been boiling with the photographs of one of Omotola’s daughters named Meraiah, who recently clocked 14. The sultry actress was furious that the teenager’s school was also posted on the internet, thereby putting the young lady at risk.
Omotola wrote on her Facebook to also kick against the use of ‘hot’ and ‘sexy’ to describe the teenager. Below is Omotola’s unedited post;
Thank you to everyone who wished Meraiah a happy birthday. However, going to a 14 year old's "private" online accts to post her pictures for public viewing is totally Inappropriate . Her father and I are horrified as parents and guardian that a minor's picture can be paraded online as hot" ,"sexy" etc...

I Scared Boys When I Was Younger – Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde

“I have two younger brothers and was a tomboy, fiercely independent. I used to scare boys from a very young age. They found me too much, because I knew what I wanted and I’d boss them around. In those days my mother would joke that I would never find a husband.”  screen goddess disclosed in a recent interview with a UK-based newspaper, Telegraph.

She stated that she had two younger brothers and that rubbed off on her making her a tomboy, adding that her mother used to make jokes that she would not find a husband, ironically she met her husband when she was 16 years old.
