Lagos Herbalist Rapes And Impregnates Patient

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a ‘doctor’, identified only as Abiodun, for allegedly raping and impregnating a 26-year-old ulcer patient in the Ipaja Ayobo area of the state.

PUNCH Metro learnt that Abiodun, a trado-medical doctor, who had his health centre – Damola Healthcare – on Agbaje Street, was arrested on Tuesday by the Isokoko Police Division.

The Family Support Unit of the division was said to be in charge of the matter.

Our correspondent gathered that the victim, Funmilayo (pseudonym), who hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State, and lives two streets away from the centre, had in December 2015, gone to the place to complain about ulcer.

It was learnt that Abiodun’s workers had prescribed some herbal drugs for the lady, telling her that she would pay N18,000 for comprehensive treatment. The victim reportedly deposited N10,000.

Herbalist Marries 18 Year Old Girl As 57th Wife

A 69 year old herbalist, Chief Simon Odo, who married an 18 year old girl, Chidinma, as his 57th wife last November has said that he would not marry again, having had a fair of women in his life.

Chidinma was married from Okutu, in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State. Odo, also known variously as Onuwa, King Solomon of Africa or King of Satan was however married to 68 women but some of them had earlier died. 

However, Odo spoke in an interview with the South East Voice at his palatial home at Aji, Enugu Ezike in Igboeze North Local Government Area of Enugu State. Emeka, first son, Franca, one of the wives and Onuwa Onuwa who was armed with an Onward note book where names of his wives and over 200 children were listed according to their dates of birth said that his first son, Emeka was born on December 15, 1969.

Herb Seller Arrested In Akwa Ibom For Theft Of 7-Month-Old Baby

A herb seller has been arrested by the Akwa Ibom State police over the theft of a seven-month old baby boy -Feargod Edemekong. The suspect, Ukat Aran, aka Dr. Job, was arrested in Afia Nsit Atai, Nsit Ibium Local Government Area of the state.

The mother of the baby, Mrs. Mfreke Edemekong, said on Tuesday in Uyo that Aran came to sell some herbal medicines to her husband’s uncle, Mr. Effiong Akpan, a day before her child was stolen.

She said two of the gang members entered their room, while one stood outside with a gun ready to fire. She added that the last member was the driver. She said the two members, who went inside the room, snatched Feargod, while pointing guns at her and her husband.

Five Arrested for Exhuming Corpses, Selling Human Parts

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested five men for allegedly exhuming corpses and selling their parts for ritual purposes. According to police authorities, the suspects –, Jamiu Adeleke, Ajibade Rafiu, Fatai Akiwowo, Kazeem Sanni and Agboola Kolawole – had at different times sold human parts in Owode, Ogun State.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, Ngozi Braide, said Adeleke was arrested by the police and through his confession, were able to apprehend the others.

“Investigations led to the home of an herbalist, Rafiu, who is also the receiver. He uses the human parts for rituals. In his house, police recovered fresh hands, which he claimed was meant for jobs for his customers. We also saw a bottle, which he said was crushed human skull mixed in fluid. He said it was for power and he uses it to make medicine for people.”
