Hulk Hogan's Victory Keeps Growing As His Awarded Another $25M in Sex Tape Lawsuit

WRESTLER Hulk Hogan just got awarded an extra $25million in punitive damages from his sex tape lawsuit.

That brings his total to a massive $140m. The extra $25m is made up of $15m from Gawker Media and $10m from site owner Nick Denton.
The editor responsible for posting the tape, A.J. Daulerio must hand over $100,000.
The company issued a statement saying it is confident this verdict will be overturned after an appeal.

t says it had the right to share the tape due to it being newsworthy and therefore protected by the First Amendment.

On Friday, a jury awarded the WWE star a $115m hand out against company Gawker who published part of his sex tape online.
He had originally sued for $100m but the jury decided that wasn't enough and bumped it up an extra $15m.

The way they broke it down was $55m for economic injuries and $60m for emotional distress.
We bet Hulk got emotional when he heard that decision, but with happy tears rather than sad ones.
His lawyer said after the decision: "This is a victory for everyone who has had their privacy violated."

The sex tape was with wife of the 62-year-old's pal Bubba the Love Sponge Clem, a radio DJ.
The clip was reportedly watched 2.5m times on Gawker.
And insider's reckon the huge pay out will destroy the website.
