Boy ‘Brought Back To Life’ 30 Minutes After He Nearly Drowned

A TODDLER who nearly drowned in an algae-filled pond was saved by villagers who pulled him from the water and gave him CPR for 30 minutes.
The youngster was rescued by other children who grabbed a long bamboo stick and dragged him back to dry land.
One of the kids was seen face down in the water while the other screamed in the upsetting mobile phone footage.
In the footage, filmed at an unknown Chinese village, a boy known as Li jumped into the pond and carried the unconscious boy back to shore.
He is seen shaking the toddler upside down and green algae falls from his mouth.
Then rescuers took it in turns to resuscitate him for 30 minutes before he finally began to breath.
The boy was incredibly lucky because, according to Xinhua News Agency, less than 1% of the population in China know how to administer first aid.
