VIDEO: Naked Swimmer Gets Stuck 100ft In The Air On Opened Drawbridge

A NAKED man was left stranded 100ft up in the air for TWO hours when a drawbridge began to close as he prepared for some skinny dipping.

The unidentified swimmer was readying himself to jump into the New River in Fort Lauderdale, Florida when the railroad connection began to rise.
Witnesses said they saw the man to scamper to the middle of the bridge and position himself on a 6x6ft metal platform.
Locals saw the man waving for help from the extremely high drop as the sun bared down on his clothes-less body.
Firefighter eventually arrived to the bizarre scenario at the Florida East Coast Railway bridge.

They realised they could not lower the bridge as he would fall off.

So after scaling the huge structure less than two hours later, rescuers were able to escort the man down to safety.
But Deputy Fire Rescue Chief Timothy Heiser said the man, who was thought to be homeless, got scared everytime someone approached him.
He said: "He didn't want anyone to come near him.
"Every time he moved, all of us that were on scene, our hearts stopped wondering if he's getting up to jump."
The man was later taken to hospital after suffering burns.
And the moral of the story is…never walk across a drawbridge naked.
